Since our January theme is BAKING, and we just finished a period when people are baking a lot, did you take pictures of your baking? Of someone else’s? How about even sharing a recipe? That would be fun too!
Share with us. At least, that is calorie-free!
January 5, 2019 at 7:38 am #24163I copied one of Cassel’s quick pages for this one … simple and effective, thanks Cassel. Photo from Unsplash and quite a few of PixelScrappers papers and some elements.
January 5, 2019 at 8:01 am #24167Love it, Annie.
January 5, 2019 at 7:28 pm #24205Thanks Michele. It really was fun to do and very quick cos I did use pre-made elements and papers … but I was in that kinda mood, <3
January 5, 2019 at 9:39 pm #24207I took several baking classes from Jason. I have only a few pictures. I never imagined scrapping a cooking/baking page! Jason is a fun teacher and a real cutie. He is also a pickleball player!
January 6, 2019 at 11:30 pm #24223A cute scrapbook page Bonnie, I love it. <3
January 7, 2019 at 5:03 am #24229Followed another of Cassel’s quick pages – photo cutout, again, simple and very effective. Elements and papers used were from Tiny Turtle Designs – Winter Snow Kit. Alpha was my own creation. Thanks for takin a peek.
January 7, 2019 at 5:41 am #24230You guys are making me hungry!
January 7, 2019 at 2:04 pm #24233Hi, Annie and Bonnie, very nice layouts! … Annie, I like very much the alpha you created.

January 7, 2019 at 7:15 pm #24253Thanks dear Cristina. You know alpha take some time to do but very rewarding in the end. <3
January 8, 2019 at 8:02 am #24267Hi Everyone. Just had to finish one more before I head out tomorrow for 2 weeks. Again I used a sample of a Quick Page Layout by Carole. Photo is from unsplash, two elements from Judy Stein and the rest is mine. Thanks for takin a peek.
January 8, 2019 at 9:32 pm #24277Thank you, Everyone, for your comments and for sharing your work. I am going to have to start getting images from Unsplash when I don’t have what I need for a challenge! Annie, love the alpha. I have been looking at Carole’s lessons on alphas and thinking I want to give it a try…put that on my bucket list!
January 11, 2019 at 9:06 am #24301Dear Annie, what a lovely layout and quick page. I like very much Carole’s quick pages and templates as well… I have a some from the 2016 calendar challenge but only used a few. I think I have to revisit the folder.
The pineapple paper is subtle but gives a nice touch to the layout and so does the alpha. The tart looks very yummy.
Well done, my friend!
January 23, 2019 at 12:11 am #25140I have been busy with the Bootcamp but have now found time to post my page for this challenge.
Before we left England we use to visit an elderly Aunt of my husband. She was never expecting us, but would always whip up a Victoria Sandwich when we arrived, literally just throwing the ingredients into a bowl and mixing them together to produce a light, fluffy and <span style=”text-decoration: underline;”>very</span> well-risen sponge. She said it was the result of many years of practice. My sponges were good, but never as good as hers.
The kit I used is from Manu Studio Designs and is called Grandma’s Kitchen. The photo is from Bing images and I used a mask from the set. I used the blue paper as the pattern to fill the text. The font is KH-Prince-Rollick.
January 23, 2019 at 11:07 pm #25160Thanks Bonnie, always appreciated. <3
January 23, 2019 at 11:09 pm #25161Thanks dear Cristina, always appreciated Hun. <3
January 23, 2019 at 11:13 pm #25162A really lovely scrapbook page Marlene, well done. The Victoria sponge is a favourite and the old cooks were very courageous because they did the whole thing by hand … no mixer in sight! <3
