This family history website illustration features the Holiday Charms tubes.  Easy to use and a good few options with some nice delicate motifs.  I struggled a bit on how to use these nice tubes and in the end just went for draping them.

I drew 4 vectors on separate layers with a curved bottom and stretched the bottom of three so the drape would start and end in the same place but hang lower on each chain.  I then used the Vector Tubes script to automate how they followed a vector shape changing the charm on each one.  I erased the top half of each layer to remove charms I did not want to show.  These may work better on a scrapbooking image as my images are quite small on my site, but I found the lighter the background the better and also added Gaussian Blur to help focus on the charms.  I also added little flares to a couple and two rings for the chains to hang from.  It will be up on the site at http://www.dowlingfamily.info  on the 8th December only each year.

Other products used in this image: Custom Calendar; Word Edge Cutout (on the card with the left side mirrored as if it only read ‘Greetings’ from the front of the closed card); Acrylic Glitter (on the logo).
