Hi Everyone,
I’m Jackie and I am thrilled to have found this site! I started using PSP in 2004 when my first child was born. I’m not very creative or tech savvy so my layouts never looked very good but found it so enjoyable to design scrapbook pages without buying the real elements and glue. I gave up on it for a bit b/c many of the sites offered tuts in ps elements, which from my own research was inferior to PSP, but as frequently happens, the inferior product wins out due to marketing, etc. and I gave up for a while. Every once in a while I would check the Corel site to see if they were expanding their offering of tutorials and learning center but just saw bits and starts, often outdated. I feared that they would drop the software altogether as evidenced by their apparent lack of support!
And now there is a whole campus on digital scrap bookking with PSP–how wonderful!! Thank you so so much. I just sent my son’s first year book (he is now 12!!) to Mixbook for printing. It’s still pretty amateurish but I wanted to get it done anyway. I plan to do one for my daughter (now 10) and would like to read through your tips and tricks before I get started so when I start her book, I will be familiar with all the cool things I wanted to do but couldn’t and it won’t be 12 years in the making.
Very sorry for this long post but I’ve been searching for something like this and now it exists!
Best, Jackie
September 7, 2016 at 5:00 pm #10715Hi Jackie,
Welcome to the Campus. You are right: a lot of tutorials online are for Adobe products. Probably because they have more money, and marketed the products more? I am not sure, but I have worked closely with the team at Corel and I can assure you that it is not going anywhere! They have added lots of tutorials in the Discovery Center, in addition to extra goodies you can buy, and even some freebies. However, they are still very “photo oriented” while the Campus is more “scrapbooking oriented”.
Have a look around. Check out the most recent Master Class, the multiple blog posts, the Tips and Tricks and the beginner tutorials. From there, you should get a good idea of what is available, and if you feel like jumping in, there is a lot more in our classes.
And if you have any question, don’t hesitate to ask.

I am also new here and I am really learning a lot with the tutorials, not only scrapping but also about PSP. They are great.
