November 27, 2021 at 7:11 pm #68243Busy Busy day 8 a bit late Quick page pictures of my garden when it snowed one Easter overnight and buried my granddaughter’s Easter egg hunt the next morning. Didn’t stop her from finding the clues though
November 28, 2021 at 1:24 pm #68264Trish, that was a quick-page ready-made? Wow!
November 28, 2021 at 2:18 pm #68269I still haven’t got that link to the frames, did u see the picture on the email. How else can I get to them xx
these QP’s come in 2 forms, dressed and undressed, the difference is the element part, but the price is the same either way this one was $1.80 .
I changed one of the frame around, it is totally psp, used some of the elements and added a couple of my own. every month they put a freebee out and there are different types on the site, LilyNovember 28, 2021 at 2:34 pm #68270Yes Trish, I replied to your email with the correct link.
November 28, 2021 at 3:43 pm #68271Trish, those are actually templates, not quick pages. I have hundreds of them from this designer and others. The designer of the one you used is actually a friend of mine as well. I always use them as a basis for my layouts and usually end up changing some things. I don’t always use the elements they “suggest” either. The beauty of templates IMO is that you can add your individuality to every layout. In the past I’ve seen many layouts using the same template and you would never know it because of the creator’s individual style of scrapping.
Also, Trish, your layout is very nice 🙂
November 28, 2021 at 3:48 pm #68272Thank you Rene confused between QP and templates as they work the same though xxx
November 28, 2021 at 4:01 pm #68273Trish, some templates look like quick pages as they have a lot of details already there. Think of it this way:
- Quick-pages are all done for you; you add the photos and the titles and it is done
- Templates are bases, full of “placeholders” that you replace by your own papers and elements. They are more work, but are obviously customizable.
Maybe I should have a tutorial explaining the differences.
November 28, 2021 at 6:31 pm #68279Cassel, a tutorial on that would be very helpful. I know in the beginning, quickpages frustrated me because I didn’t realize the difference.
