Somehow I never got this page via email to be able to post my creations. Here are #1 and #2. I’m focusing on candid shots from my granddaughter, Jackie’s wedding back in June. I got the QP for #3 late yesterday so it will come later. I did get a bit creative with #2 as I wanted to change the tiles to a pattern more conducive to a wedding.

Catching up. Here is #3 – Dressing the Bride. I did quite a bit of editing on the Quick Page.

Edit: Found an error where I neglected to erase one side of a photo. All fixed!

Carole you are right finding photos that suit this QP is the most time consuming of all. Once decided on the photos it’s just a couple of minutes!

Her is my Busy QP-4. I selected an Autumn theme from my hometown in Germany. I had originally planned to showcase my cats, but their pictures were too small to work in the larger top space. and they became too blurry when I enlarged them.

Day 4, pictures taken at the monastery in the North-East of the Netherlands. (Klooster ter Apel)

I almost feel like a tourist information employee by now, showing you the Netherlands in my projects and posts 🙂

I changed the background color, taken from the stones in the wall. I tried grey too, but that wasn’t nice.

Monique: I like the effect of the photos leaning against the wall. Nicely done!

Day 5: The design needed work so I decided to follow this tutorial to create a template from a flat image. It came out better than I expected! Here’s the happy bride and groom (and the ring bearer! 😉 )

Monique, I’m also sometimes feeling as a tourist guide while showing our beautiful country!

This is Rotterdam, the town where I was born and although I do not live there anymore,  for 52 years now, it still feels so familiar to me whenever I’m there. I don’t want to live there anymore that’s for certain but it still pulls on my heartstrings. Rotterdam is a city with very interesting and modern architecture and is often called “Manhattan aan de Maas” because of all the skyscrapers. The Maas is the river that splits the town in 2 parts with a tunnel and several bridges connecting those, one of them is nicknamed De Zwaan (The Swan).

Here is my Busy QP-5. Both cats Natasha (on left) and YaPurr (upper right) enjoy their playtime. I used Carolina Script for letters F & P and Bernard Condensed for the rest of the title on top, then added a drop shadow. For the bottom text I used Malgun Gothic and added a drop shadow. This was another fun project. Thank you Carole.

Days 3, 4 and 5.   Day 3 and 5 photos were taken at a botanical garden in New Zealand.  Day  4 shows the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Sydney Opera House.

Originally, I had two pictures of footprints in the snow set aside for Day 5. However, the little butterfly in the layout turned my thoughts elsewhere. The pictures are from Pixabay.

                                            Day 6

This project took longer because I kept changing the photo I wanted to use. Poppy came to live with me a couple of days after the top photo was taken. It’s a blurry cell phone photo but it is OK for this…she is 5 weeks old. There were 5 kittens in her litter. I was promised one but the lady who was finding them homes kept giving them away and by the time she got to me, Poppy was the only one available…lucky me! She tested positive for feline HIV. The vet says they sometimes test positive because the mother cat has HIV (mother cat was feral) and that she may not have HIV. Several weeks later Poppy tested clear and is a healthy, happy cat…very stubborn…but I love her!

Hi! I’m here too, I just registered yesterday.

The photos I use for these 4 days are of my daughter who traveled alone from our homeland Belgium to the USA in September 2004, where she joined a group of young people who, like her, came from all over the world to tour together.

Here is my Busy QP-6 Page. It pictures some of my Cat Angels: Cinnamon, Mooch and Smokey. They will always be in my heart. I had a hard time with the text wrapping. I tried it with center, left and right align. It wrapped, but text in the next line would always be too close to the text line above, so I did the best I could, centered text and hit return twice so the text would look OK. I must be doing something wrong or have a setting  that is not correct. It worked for me before during one of the other classes,  so I can’t figure it out why it will not work for me now. Any tips will b appreciated.

Just wondering why the color of the text at the top/bottom, didn’t get the same color. Even though I I’m sure I used the same.

I figured out why my line spacing was not working correctly. I somehow had the Leading values showing a minus 0.700 value. I checked my recent  Bootcamp page where it worked correctly and that number was set to o.ooo, so I reset it and the line spacing works correctly now. I must have messed it up when I used the Kerning on a recent project and used the leading by error.

As some of you already know I love flowers and have made so many photos over the last 2 years, so I couldn’t resist and did a flower QP. We haven’t had pets  because the kids where allergic to most dogs, cats and guinea-pigs; 40 years ago we hadn’t even heard of Labradoodles!

I changed my QP-6 page a bit. I noticed that the gold embellishment covered a little bit of Cinnamon’s face. so I mirrored her photo. Cinnamon was a Diva and she will like that.
