Here is my challenge #5. I have more I would love to do but am out of time to play. I must get ready for Thanksgiving guests. This was a very informative class and I did learn some new things.
November 25, 2019 at 1:09 pm #36194I got it to work but haven’t had time to try again. I will give it another try. I have no idea what I did do that made it finally work for me. The choice to add the the frame was not highlighted where I could do the step.
November 25, 2019 at 5:52 pm #36198I have really enjoyed doing these exercises! I learned quite a lot about manipulating layers and working consistently.
November 25, 2019 at 5:59 pm #36199And everyone’s work is so beautiful – I love all the sentiments, words of wisdom and just plain fun.
November 25, 2019 at 6:20 pm #36201I wanted to try another scrap page. Here is my second one.
November 25, 2019 at 6:29 pm #36203I decided to use the kit which is probably the first time ive done a layout entirely from a kit, I enjoyed the layout and the tips and tricks but will probably remake this with different colors and elements I would have redone things for more contrast but was running out of time. I have really enjoyed the bootcamp and it has been a very effective refresher and inspiration.
November 25, 2019 at 9:07 pm #36205Here is my day 6 project. I haven’t tried all the techniques yet but I definitely will. I was wondering how I managed to get rounded corners on my pictures but then I watched the day 7 video haha. My background was two papers layered together with the top one set to around 26 percent opacity. I might go back and texture the frames later.
Thank you for providing access to all of the wonderful scrapbook kits Cassel! They’re really pretty and will get me down the road for some time.
And thank you to everyone who is posting their beautiful works of art. You’re all giving me fantastic ideas!
November 25, 2019 at 9:18 pm #36207Here’s the last one. This is our dog Obi, who had a spinal cord injury in 2015 which left him partially paralyzed. We had one of his back legs amputated in 2016 since it was hindering his movement and balance. He is still thriving today and enjoys walks in his “wheelchair”.
Thank you so much Cassel for your fantastic bootcamp and exceptional skills. You’re an excellent instructor! I learned SO MUCH and I’m excited to delve into more in the future.

November 25, 2019 at 11:31 pm #36213Hi, I am a late starter for the November boot camp. here are my Day 3, and day 4 projects.
Day 3. This is my adorable No 4 Gt Grandson, such a cutie.
Day 4, what a wonderful adventure it was on the penny farthing. Just look at me go !!!
November 25, 2019 at 11:33 pm #36214Jerri, even if you ran out of time, you did a great job on that last layout.
Connie, you definitely seem to be more comfortable with your PSP and it shows in your layout. I love the seashells in the title.
Peggy, at least when you use a ready-made kit (or supplies) it allows you to concentrate on the technique. As you get more and more comfortable, then you will want to create your own. So it is quite ok. Using those supplies also makes the process faster.
Ann, black frames are less common than white ones, but they definitely make your photos stand out! Your Obi certainly looks like a happy camper!
Trish, are my eyes playing tricks on me or do you have blue shadows on your last layout?
Shirley, there is no time like now to start. And you still have time to catch up. Looking forward to your projects. You are starting very well and those pictures are great (cute and fun).
Remember that you still have until tomorrow night to post 4 out of 5 projects to be entered into the draw. However, you can always post more projects after that “deadline”, or if you want to redo some projects, it is fine too.
And that survey too… your comments are always welcome.
November 26, 2019 at 1:34 am #36216This is number 4 posted. These are cats belonging to the same friends who raised the cows I have used.
November 26, 2019 at 5:21 am #36218Here is my Day 5, remembering special times with special friends
November 26, 2019 at 3:50 pm #36233Day 6 November boot camp. Eli, our great grandson has been busy testing his baking skills for many years. Earlier this year he met a well known chef and she gifted him one of her cook books. He has just won the prime ministers award at his school for excellence. We are very proud
November 26, 2019 at 11:50 pm #36239Having difficulty finishing up Day 5. Video either stops completely or sound cuts out. Sometimes an error message pops up. Have tried several times. Other days are working fine. Trying to get this last one done. Barb
November 27, 2019 at 1:50 am #36241Here is the 5th one.
November 27, 2019 at 6:18 am #36243This is my last day of concentration.I forgot to put a layer under the text, and my journal has not showed up, but it is there… honest!
I think I have covered everything else.
December 7, 2019 at 12:28 pm #36363Hi, I am a little late getting Day 5 out. I had unavoidable interruptions. I will try to get Days 6 & 7 done as soon as I can.

December 9, 2019 at 3:47 pm #36420Hello everyone, I just want to say that although I have not worked my way through all the boot camp videos yet, I am working at it and enjoying it so much. I am very impressed with the work I’ve seen others post and wish you all well for future projects.
Mostly, I want to say to Cassel how great your style is, both in layout and design and in instructing! I was a college professor for over 30 years, so I recognize when someone is doing a great job at explaining and training. You’re a natural. I would take any course you’re offering!
Thanks to all!
December 9, 2019 at 3:52 pm #36421Thank you very much Julie for those kind words. I am looking forward to seeing your future projects, and if you want to see more classes, don’t hesitate to join our live classes on the first Sunday of every month! It is even more fun when it is live!
