N = nasty nelson…in pickleball when the server delibertly hits the receiver’s partner. If this happens, the server receives a point. No one but the receiver can play the serve.
T = third shot drop…pickleball again. The drop shot is an attempt to force your opponent to hit up…plus hit correctly a drop shot can give you time to reach the non-volley zone. Very difficult shot to hit, but very effective when you master it.
U = Underhand ~ a pitch used in women’s softball. (I played when I was young and I was horrible!)
X = Xare — a racket sport, a form of Basque pelota, where players face each other across a net that is strung across the middle of an indoor court.
Z = Zorbing. Zorbing is the recreation or sport of rolling downhill inside an orb, typically made of transparent plastic.
A – Angling — often used to refer to fishing, it is the principal method of sport fishing.
B = backhand…a ground stroke used in tennis, pickleball, raquetball, table tennis, badminton…and any raquet/paddle sports I have forgotten.
