Hehe… I also wish my cat was docile. He has long fur and does not groom himself very well and his fur is all matted. He won’t tolerate being held. He won’t tolerate being brushed. We had to bring him to the groomer, and she had to shave him, but she was only able to shave the back. After that, her hands were in danger! The job could NOT be completed, and right now, we are looking at shaving under anesthesia. Not a fun prospect. In the mean time, he look really weird!
May 21, 2016 at 1:43 pm #9369Wow…that’s a challenge. Is there any chance this cat will allow himself to be vacuumed? My brother had a Maine Coon cat (well, at least he claimed it was) and it had very thick fur that was hard to brush, but the cat loved to be vacuumed and that sucked out the loose hair before it got to the matting stage. I know not all cats enjoy this process but I had to ask.
I don’t know if this would work, but I just heard about the LICKI Brush for cat grooming, but I don’t think there is anyway I could keep my cat laughing himself to death if I tried it: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1046165765/licki-brush-lick-your-cat
In honor of your kitty:
F = furry
May 21, 2016 at 1:55 pm #9374Hum… i would not want to put my face that close to him, in case he decides he does not like the process. Could be dangerous for my eyes!
G = Grooming!

May 21, 2016 at 6:19 pm #9386I = Inquisitive (or Inquiring) I think this could apply to many pets sneaking in every imaginable corner of a house!
May 22, 2016 at 8:50 am #9387j = jump (often for joy)
May 23, 2016 at 10:55 am #9401k = kibble
May 24, 2016 at 8:42 am #9403Z- Zorse. I’ve ridden and owned horses all my life, never owned one, but have heard of them a Zorse is the offspring of a Zebra with horse for a mother. There’s also the Zonkey, a cross between a Zebra and a donkey, again the mother would be the donkey.
May 25, 2016 at 11:11 am #9404L = love, lively, lick, lap (and my cat Larry)
May 26, 2016 at 11:06 am #9405M = Motivational as in making you take some regular exercise ie, daily walking the dog.
May 27, 2016 at 9:58 pm #9410N = Newcomer (welcome new pet!)
May 28, 2016 at 12:17 pm #9458o = old timer (my Bella is 14 years old…but the older pets have a lot of life left in them).
May 28, 2016 at 9:35 pm #9465P = Park… a nice place to bring one’s pet!
May 29, 2016 at 5:14 am #9466Q = Quench a thirst as most pets need lots of available water to drink, even if most of it gets slopped over the floor when they have one.
May 29, 2016 at 11:31 am #9470R = Rescue … all my cats were rescued, one way or another. Either from the shelter, once from the pet shop hours before one kitten was to be euthanized, some were stray cats, among them two tiny kittens that were abandoned.
May 29, 2016 at 11:43 am #9471My dogs and cats have been rescues too. They are the best…..so….
s = save (they saved me)
May 31, 2016 at 12:06 pm #9487t = treats
May 31, 2016 at 5:02 pm #9488u = unique (every pet, even siblings, is unlike any other)
May 31, 2016 at 5:36 pm #9489V = Vegetarian? (don’t you have a dog or a cat that likes vegetables? I had a cat who would eat stew: eat the potatoes, the carrots, the celery but left the chicken!)
May 31, 2016 at 7:06 pm #9491Not all pets are carnivores so, in addition to your cat, there are other pets who are vegetarians (bunnies, for example) so I think vegetarian works. We used to have a cat that dug up carrots to eat them and another that liked cooked broccoli. You just never know. I was thinking veterinarian, with whom I’m having quite a close relationship lately. Sigh.
May 31, 2016 at 7:16 pm #9492Why didn’t i think of Veterinarian??? It was too obvious maybe? 😉
May 31, 2016 at 8:14 pm #9493Running out of time, so I’ll toss in another.
W= winsome, warm, wiggly
May 31, 2016 at 8:27 pm #9494I think I will cheat a bit:
X = EXcited (that can certainly describe a lot of pets)
Although, we could have a traditional X-Ray of our fur baby too.
June 1, 2016 at 12:16 am #9498I think I will let into my
y = yard
the rest of my little
