Have you ever made an ALPHABET album? It is a fun way to showcase photos or stories, but with an added twist.
I have created an alphabet album in the past, where each page had a title (and a topic) starting with one letter of the alphabet. Then, the pages were placed in alphabetical order, even if not in chronological order. So, for 2022, I am suggesting this long-term challenge for you. With one page every 2 weeks, we will be able to finish the year with a complete album. It is up to you to decide if you want to print it or share it otherwise.
I will share my own pages, just for ideas, but I will also give you some more words that will start with the letter of the week. Try to think of one overarching theme to use. It could be about your last vacation, a family gathering, a hobby of yours, a location, etc. Think of something that you have lots of photos of or many words you can associate with.
If you have not started yet and want to jump in, no problem. You know the alphabet so you know what letters you will have to do and you still have many months to catch up on those few pages, so don’t hesitate. There is also no deadline, so if this week’s page is done only next month, it is totally fine too.
So here is my E layout.
Of course, you can use words in your own language too. As you can see, this album was done in French.
Here are some other words that could be used as title/theme:
Eagle, Easy, Early, Electric, Elegant, Enchanted, Endurance, Energy, Eventful, Exotic, Effort, Equal, Expert, Expect, Emblem, Ears, Euros, Eyes, Eat, Exam, Email, Error, Ending, Event, Extra, Elder, Engine, Elope, Exercise, Examples, and many more.
What will your E layout be?

February 26, 2022 at 11:03 pm #72745A local family with the last name of Erb has had a poultry business in the larger city nearby for many years. Several generations worked in this business which provided poultry to many restaurants in the state. My father was a high school friend of the son that eventually took over the business and continued that friendship until my father passed away. Because of the friendship the 2 couples were friends as well. This family had 6 children and the 2nd daughter and I were also high school friends. Eventually all 3 of her brothers ended up working in the business. The oldest of these 3 had the idea to start a BBQ chicken (and pork chops) business as a side business. They became very successful and even though I am not fond of BBQ chicken I will eat theirs. The original poultry business is no longer in business but the BBQ business is still going strong during the summer months. Back in the early 90’s my Dad helped at one of their BBQ catering picnics… for a local plant picnic for over 200 employees. I took these pictures then and kept Mom company while he worked (she was in a wheelchair and needed help getting around).
February 27, 2022 at 8:38 am #72766E is for Etten-Leur, the place where I live since 1973.
I have seen this village grow over the years but the the old part is still very much the same. The big photo is the old town hall, which is still in use for more formal meetings and on the steps in front of it many formalities take place. Salutes are taken, important people welcomed by the mayor etc. The smaller photo is from the new build town hall which is just around the corner of the old one.
I used again one of the templates by Carole and the layout is in the same style as the others.

Auto photos from Google, wrench clipart from NicePNG, tire tracks are a picture tube, the Britannic Bold font is filled with a pattern I made from the asphalt under the Trans-Am, the photo layout is a cass-template that I cropped to print size.
