Have you ever made an ALPHABET album? It is a fun way to showcase photos or stories, but with an added twist.
I have created an alphabet album in the past, where each page had a title (and a topic) starting with one letter of the alphabet. Then, the pages were placed in alphabetical order, even if not in chronological order. So, for 2022, I am suggesting this long-term challenge for you. With one page every 2 weeks, we will be able to finish the year with a complete album. It is up to you to decide if you want to print it or share it otherwise.
I will share my own pages, just for ideas, but I will also give you some more words that will start with the letter of the week. Try to think of one overarching theme to use. It could be about your last vacation, a family gathering, a hobby of yours, a location, etc. Think of something that you have lots of photos of or many words you can associate with.
If you have not started yet and want to jump in, no problem. You know the alphabet so you know what letters you will have to do and you still have many months to catch up on those few pages, so don’t hesitate. There is also no deadline, so if this week’s page is done only next month, it is totally fine too.
So here is my T layout.
Of course, you can use words in your own language too. As you can see, this album was done in French.
Here are some other words that could be used as title/theme:
Tact, Talent, Talented, Taste, Team, Teach, Teacher, Tenacious, Tender, Terrific, Thank you, Thrill, Tidy, Together, Top, Total, Trophy, True, Trust, Tan, Teen, Tear, Terrible, Time, Tired, Toxic, Tranquil, Trash, Typical, Tall, Taboo, Temporary, Thin, Thirsty, Three, Torn, Tower, Trick, Thankful, Touch, Trouble, Table, Target, Toes, Traffic, Training, Tree, Trump, Talk, Think, Track, Transplant, Twinkle, and more.
What will your T layout be?
October 1, 2022 at 5:09 pm #83955T is for Telephone Service Company. TSC was started in 1895 and is still a part of the town in 2022. They evolved from being just a phone company to an internet service provider and a cable TV provider. I no longer have a landline phone but I still have internet and cable TV service from them. Best part about them being local is that the service department is located right here in town and if service is needed, it can be had within 24 hours. This past spring I was having cable issues and a tech was here in 3 hours.
October 1, 2022 at 5:57 pm #83959The letter T stands for “Trouwkerkje” which means a little church used for weddings. It is an old Protestant church from 1614 and since 1971 in use for weddings, exhibitions, concerts and polling station. It has an organ that was build in 1717 by Johannes Zeemans. The painted wallboard from 1643 has the creed written onto it.
October 1, 2022 at 6:43 pm #83961My letter T is for two grandsons, or rather, one grandson and one grandson-in-law. Interestingly, they both have the initials TJ for their first names. My grandson is Tyler-John and grandson-in-law is Tae-jun. Tyler is here on the East Coast and Tj, as Tae-jun is known, lives in California. I just discovered that Tj, who is 35, is a Senior Software Engineer, and works for Meta, the parent company of Facebook. Tyler is 27, a Federal Corrections Officer, and unmarried. Tj is married to my granddaughter, Anna, who is a Speech Language Pathologist.
October 1, 2022 at 10:00 pm #83971Rene and Corrie, I always look forward to your Letters, both are very beautifully done.
Ann, Wonderful tribute, this layout. Is that a paper script at the bottom? It’s really effective, almost looks like a city. It’s neat that your grandsons have the same initials. Impressive careers as well.
October 2, 2022 at 7:31 am #83979Susan: Thanks for the kind words. Yes, the bottom is Carole’s freebie for the Paper Strips Template/Script. As to my grandson’s careers, now we know who to blame when Facebook acts up! 😉

October 13, 2022 at 10:04 pm #84489Alpha book, T…thankful. I used Carole’s script, emboss and element scatter. The embossing is very faint. I am caught up just in time for the next letter.
