In June, our monthly theme is HORSES.
Are you a horse lover? Are you attracted to horse racing? Or you just had lots of opportunities to ride horses when you were young? What words can we find that relates to horses, and start with each letter of the alphabet?
Let’s go!
Because I want more people to jump in the game, I will ask to NOT post two consecutive answers (unless there is a 24 hour period without an answer since it could mean we are stuck)
A – Appaloosa (the spotted horse breed)
B – Buckskin I don’t have a picture of the Buckskin I use to ride. But he was a wonderful horse.
D=Dressage
I = IRON HORSE

Knabstruper: Breed of horse from Denmark, known for its spotted coat, similar to that of the Appaloosa.
Martingale. Running martingale or standing martingale. An artificial aid to lower a horse’s head.
O Overo Coat pattern seen in Paint Horses. Uneven splashes of white over the horse’s belly, legs, neck and head.

Z = Zemaitukas, another historic horse breed, this time from Lithuania, I found it on a german website about a great variety of breeds
