HI, I have PSP version X4, X7 32 bit & 64 bit & X9 32 bit & 64 bit installed on my laptop as a result of purchasing upgrades – do I need to leave them all or can I uninstall the older versions? Thank you

        Hi Jenny,

        Welcome to the Campus.

There is no reason to remove older versions unless you need the space. They don’t interfere with each other. Sometimes, older versions might feel more comfortable, or sometimes, newer versions might misbehave or have bugs that you can circumvent by using another version. I have all the versions, from 8 to X9 installed on my computer. However, if you want to remove the older ones for space issues, make sure you copy all the resources includes in them and save them somewhere safe. You can always use those supplies in other versions.

Here is a blog post about those resources: https://scrapbookcampus.com/2014/10/using-resources-from-your-older-paintshop-pro/

And by the way, my husband is a Barclay too, but i am from Canada! Probably no relation 🙂

Thank you for your quick reply Cassel. I keep upgrading the program but haven’t used it “properly” since psp7 which I loved – in fact I sometimes still fire up my old computer with it installed to use it 🙂  but I’m determined to learn how to use the program properly, now to find where all the scripts & things I have bought or downloaded are located.

I’m in Australia, my husbands family originated in the UK somewhere.

          Cheers
