Theme – Lights

Light is defined as electromagnetic radiation that can be detected by the human eye. It occurs over an extremely wide range of wavelengths. As we all know, there are various sources of light. Some of them are natural while others are artificial.

Light is a very important part of our everyday lives. It’s actually everywhere, from our bedrooms to our streets and offices. It’s also an essential energy source that keeps us warm and lets us see the world around us. Can you imagine what the world would have been like if light didn’t exist?

To give appreciation to this element, we chose to make it as our theme for this month. Here are some great layouts that showcase different kinds of lights to help spark your creativity and provide you an idea for your next scrapbooking adventure.

Natural Light

Natural light can be defined as any light that is generated naturally. Some of the best examples of this are daylight, sunlight, moonlight, and lightning. Do you like taking pictures of sunrises? How about sunsets, or any awesome phenomenon that shows the beauty of natural light?

City Lights

When the daytime turns into nighttime, you’ll see a different sight of the city. Slowly, it turns into a beautiful scenery that’s bright, cheery, and colorful. You’ll surely get mesmerized by how city lights can even outshine the moon and stars, especially when you watch the whole thing from afar.

Christmas Lights

And since we’re already in the last quarter of the year, you might end up seeing houses and other places being decorated with twinkling Christmas lights. Have you got those Christmas lights up yet? Or are you planning to set them up soon?

Fireworks

Where there’s a big celebration, you can also expect to have a fireworks display. Christmas, New Year, festivals, concerts, and sometimes, even birthday parties are just some of the events where you can have a glimpse of those spectacular low explosive pyrotechnic devices. They can come in many different colors and various sizes and can light up the sky for a short period of time.

  1. Those are all awesome layouts, Cassel! Thanks for showing them to us and giving some inspiration. I wondered if they were past “students” of yours? Thank you for the lanterns, too. They look like lots of fun. When I get all settled in here back here in Florida I can see I have a lot of catching up to do with your scripts! Tons of fun ones to buy!

    • Typically, no. They are not past students (last month, we had a layout from Bonnie). We are looking at layouts in galleries, and often, the students in here don’t post much in galleries.
