Here is my Day 2 Card: A birthday card for my daughter. I used the colors from the flowers and the kaleidoscope effect to create the design for the top strip. The font for Happy Birthday is Banana Pancakes; the font for Debbie is Wide Latin. I also create a back but didn't post it here. I'm probably going to send this to Debbie on her birthday, Dec 28th, as an eCard, anyway.

Sue: Well, this Gallery thingy is new for all of us! LOL Here's Carole's instructions for posting an image from the Gallery into the Forum. I keep it handy myself as it's not a habit yet.

My granddaughter has announced her second pregnancy - she's due June 26, 2023. I used a template for this from ps_rachel-martin_287867_kamala-templates-template-01. The Alpha is from the In the Moonlight mega kit. -
Here's my interpretation of the November 2022 Sketch Challenge. I turned it 90 degrees and combined two of the placeholders into one to give me a total of 3 photos. I dipped into a new mega kit I got from Janet Kemp on digitalscrapbook.com. It's called In the Moonlight. I used a background paper and a paint splash and several washi tapes. I also got a brad from the Ladybug kit, since Magic's tea set has ladybugs on it. The tea set was found on Facebook Marketplace and seems to be quite old. Magic made cookies with her Nana Debbie, just for the tea party.

The topic for November is CHURCH and I chose one of America's most famous for this showcase. We'll never catch up to Europe in the cathedral department, but St. Patrick's is the largest Gothic Revival in North America. This is created on a collage template. The photos are from St. Patrick's website.

Playing with Blending techniques and my granddaughter's wedding photos. This is two photos, one of the couple and the other of the flowers on the head table. The word art is stamps from Pixelscrapper. The frame started out as a white mat but playing with inner bevels I decided to leave it like this.

Utilizing Carole's freebie SLATS. I was waiting to use this great photo of my great-grand, Magic and her mother, Lucy. The block alpha is from cass. The heart is from a Valentine's kit. The date font is Aviation Cocktail Aged 1. I used a lot of inner bevels. Hopefully, I'll learn how to do shadows on a black background soon! -

Here's my hometown church, where I was baptized, confirmed, married and my children baptized. It was a German Lutheran Church, quite liberal for its time. I even attended church camp in the summer and most of my friends were confirmed with me. The text is Sunlight Script. -

My daughter took this photo with her new Samsung cell phone camera while at work. The bird was tucked into a fall decoration of corn stalks right next to the front door of her school. I hunted Unsplash and found this cornfield from Jesse Gardner to use as a background and changed the hue to suit. The poem, from Stephanie Lenox, I found online. The fonts are all Arial except for the two signatures which are in Copperplate Gothic. I like simple designs like this with little embellishments; letting the photos and story speak for themselves.© 2022

This series was made in class last fall and I gifted it to my Downton-loving granddaughter last Christmas. Now I like them for my office wall. -

NIKO is a Geoffroy's Cat, one of the smallest, but fiercest of the wild cats. They come in a variety of colors, including golden with spots and gray with stripes, but this dark, melanistic variety is common. Their scientific name is Leopardus geoffroyi and they are the size of a small domestic cat, weighing about 8-10 lbs. -
I'll be there!

Here's my granddaughter, Jackie, a zookeeper at Claws & Paws Animal Park, Mt. Arial, PA, giving us a private tour. Here she's playing with the caracal kittens. The peacock donated a feather! ;-) There was a big cat in the background photo, but I hid it with the smaller ones. I created my own frame with canvas additions; 100 pixels for the white then another 100 for the wood pattern fill. I select all and then a Select Selection Borders at 100 and then applied an outer bevel. Then I changed the selection to 50 to create the inner texture where I applied an inner bevel. - Just replaced my original with a revised version because the lower right photo seemed to slip.

Using Marie-Claire's template, here is Autumn Memories in the Hudson Valley. I used the same photo 3 times. I added flying bird silhouettes, and the Mallard ducks are tubes.
