  1. Here is Project 2 from Module 2. I have elements from Janet Kemp, Marisa Lerin, Rachel Martin, and Sharon Dewi Stolp. I created the background using photo corners from Jessica Dunn. I only downloaded two of the four and went from there. I actually have several of those now in different colors. Rest is original photography or from the internet. The fonts I used to create two "alpha" words and 5 alpha letters were Loves Labour and Moria Citadel.
  2. Project 4. Background started out as an internet image for Flamingo Wallpaper you can purchase for your home (in what room would you put that LOL???) which I completely transformed to make a pattern for my paper. Butterflies were from ps_elif-sahin, watermelon heart from Janet Kemp, Barcode from Marisa Larin, the striped ribbon was modified from one got from Flolinette-PBS, the other I can't remember but it was modified and originally from digitalscrapbook.com. The dragonfly, I found on the internet.
  3. i like what you did with the flatware (metallic effect) and the addition of the napkin. I'm going to have to break out the tutorial(s) on creating metallic elements and practice on that until I can remember the steps without having to use notes or re-watch the videos.
  4. I'll post my projects for the BSC here. Not sure how fast I'll work through them. Doing the Bootcamp as well currently. This is Project 1 from Module 1:
  5. Nice catch. I didn't think about that. The postcard addition was a last minute after-thought and I missed it.
  6. Project 3. I know it is difficult to read the postcard at 600 dpi so I'm throwing in a small size copy of that element. The angel(s) came from Janet Kemp, The background was from a Tutorial Project, the striped paper was a modification of a Flolinette-PBS paper, the font was Blackletter 686 BT. The background for the bigger text is an original photo taken while we were steaming FAST through the Red Sea to get on station for the start of the Desert Storm campaign which I heavily modified, by changing hues, and mirroring a selection (small copy attached of original).
  7. I posted this somewhere else I think but can't remember where. It should have been here after putting the image into the gallery. Took me a couple of months before I finally started getting that right.
  8. Frame is from Cassel, the reading dragon came off the internet. Rest was just "Moi". Font was Fraktur BT at 550 Pixels.
  9. A couple of ways to "quote". Highlight the sentence or piece of text to which you want to reply and watch for a pop up that says "quote selection" under the highlighted area and if you click that it will open a reply with the quote. Or under the "post" there is a + sign and the word quote. When you click that a new reply opens with the entire previous post, photo and all in which you can reply.
  10. I love the way you have the bird walking the photo edge. An "out of bounds" effect without actually having to trick folks' minds LOL.
  11. I said a couple of days ago, I was going to improve my nautical scatters picture tube and share it with everyone. Here is the results of that. My McAfee hiccuped when I double clicked the link below although it is OK. I suggest you copy the link and paste it into your browser address line to get the download. Place the PspTube file into the "documents/Corel PaintShop Pro/2022 (or your version)/Picture Tubes/" folder. The other file is just an image where I set the size at 30 and painted around the canvas (over a white background layer) as a sample of using the Tube. Noticed can't change the default "size" after you have exported the tube...I think the default is 100. The Images/paintbrush stamps were originally sized at 100. http://www.toroscope.com/shares/dhess-nauticalscatters.zip PS...This is assuming you are interested in a nautically themed picture tube to create some scatters. It's not exactly generic but good for anything that is boat or ship or ocean themed...or perhaps some other categories.
  12. @Cassel Had to look for it but found the registration link and signed up.
  13. I've not been getting emails for these; I never officially registered...I've been going directly into the lessons via the Workshops Menu under Diamond membership. I guess I've jumped ahead. I'll slow my roll.
  14. LOL. I've been trying to keep up ! I guess I've posted four actual projects so far and a screen shot of my dual monitor layout.
  15. @Cassel I found an abr file called 20 Nautical Brushes quite awhile back and imported them. Using that and some guides installed, I "stamped" five of them onto a small image to create a pattern. See attached. I also used the brushes to create a picture tube that I called nautical scatters. I took an anchor and a life buoy (same one as in the pattern) and made five SMALL copies of each, then magic wanded each and filled with a brighter color. Then I exported as a picture tube. I was working on the project that you said required (and demonstrated) scatters. I'm going to do that picture tube again but use MORE of the brushes and make a more random picture tube out of them. When done, I'll zip the file and post a link for it on here for any that would like it. I've gotten the day/project numbers mixed up apparently. I guess if you count the Sandwich as day 1 then this one was day 2-single photo and the one with my granddaughter was day3-adventure.
  16. This one is "Project #2".
  17. You are not alone with that.
  18. Here it comes @Mary Solaas LOL. (2nd upload...I deleted the first one and subsequent post...wanted to lighten the background a bit). Now that I'm in the groove being registered in the class, this one is "Project 1".
