Cassel, hehe...definitely communication! :D

Marlene, Dawn, and micfin, thank you so much for your comments on my page. I do appreciate! <3
Marlene, the food was good, what here is called bürgerliches Essen... maybe "good plain food" would be a translation that comes close, nothing fancy, typical from this state, Rhineland-Palatinate.
Dawn, I also like very much seeing photos from Australia and other places that are posted here.
micfin, let's all go there then! :D

I was finally able to come up with something for this challenge.
The background is a solid color > texturizer plugin (canvas) > grunge overlay (45% opacity)
I added elements that I made based on 3 Cassel's tutorials of THE LAB 07 Module 8:
Triangle pattern, Random pattern (hearts) and Painted Wood (Journaling). The hearts tapes were made with cass-AdhesiveTapeB Script.
The journaling font is Bariol Bold. For the title, I used the FoglihtenN007 font from Gluk that was mentioned in the "Using Fancy Fonts in your PSP" post. I used the special characters for the letters D-r--R-s
I also used cass-ScrewHead Picture Tube.

micfin, another lovely project! Really great work!

micfin, both your projects are lovely, and what a great choice of fonts The ribbon is a perfect match to the beautiful photo. Nice work as always!

Marlene, I watched a few videos of the Blue-Winged Kookaburra and it is a very impressive and lovely bird too. Its color is beautiful. It can't really laugh like a Kookaburra, but it can get loud. :) Thank you, was a great tip!

Dawn and Marlene, very nice choice and use of the Fancy Fonts technique. They really stand out on a page. Nice work!
Dawn, I was curious about the sound of this bird, so I went online to check it out and found many videos on YouTube. Lovely bird and interesting and unique sound. :)
I couldn't come up with anything yet for this challenge... I will take a look at some photos at Pixabay and maybe I will be inspired to do something.

Dawn, you might have struggled but you came up with a really lovely page. Everything blends so well together. I love the elements, the color of the title and especially the journaling. Great memories and great work. Thanks for sharing.
I hope you get well soon!

Marlene and Dawn, thank you so much for taking the time to comment on my page. I appreciate very much.
I saw online sometime ago pages using this Focal Point Templates, don't remember where maybe Pinterest, and I liked very much this kind of page where a large photo is the main subject. So, when they were on sale I had to get it. :) And I love this Play Dough Alpha and have used it a few times in some challenges here. I also have the script. ;)
-
This is my contribution to this challenge. I used the Focal Point Template1 (4) from Scrapping with Liz as a base for my page.
For the word BACK I used cass-PlaydoughAlpha freebie and for the date/place stamp, I used cass-DateStamp5 script.
The background pattern is from KAagard-GreatOutdoors Kit.
The brackets came with the template and I flooded fill with white > Effects > Texture Effects > Sculpture > rusty texture that I got free online.
The text says: "The Kühkopf Nature Reserve is our favorite place to ride bicycles along paths and through the forest until the river banks of the Rhine River." The font for the text and part of the title is Dancing Script.

micfin, wow your project is really beautiful! The whole composition matches so well... Great work! Thanks for sharing the details of how you did it. :)
-
Marlene, great page and the use of the word Back. It really translated the feeling of the disappointment you had to see how things have changed.
It is so true what you wrote that sometimes it is better to just remember how it was... Nice page!
-
Dawn, what a beautiful memory page! I like everything: the photos, the edge font, the crochet lace frame... Great page. Looking forward to seeing more of your memory pages.
-
Marlene, Dawn, thank you very much for commenting on my page.
Dawn, I agree that Cassel's scripts come in handy... I love to learn how to make things myself but I also love the scripts. They are great!

Marlene. very good examples of what we can do knowing the right tools. And I agree, it was a fantastic class.
micfin, amazing the difference between the two photos! I have to try this manual color adjustment.
-
Marlene, what a beautiful page! The background, elements. and lovely photo, I love everything. Very good work with the alternate characters. I have to try it one day.

This is my contribution to this challenge.
1 definition: Carpe Diem
2 slides: I also used PSP slide mount frame
3 cardboards elements: I made the mat with a cardboard texture. The arrow and heart were made with cass-PaintedCardboard script.
The background paper is from KAagard-Great Outdoors Kit

Dawn your page is lovely! Cute photo and a nice example of the Bokeh effect.
micfin, beautiful, colorful page! A great example of the Bokeh effect with different colors.
Great work. ladies!
-
Marlene, nice page and especially the definition "Scrubs" you've used; even more, for me, that was not familiar with this meaning.
Dawn, beautiful flower photos! I like very much the texture and colors of the slides. Great pages, ladies!
-
Dawn, thank you for your kind comment! I went a bit overboard with the Bokeh technique :D I was having fun...
I tried again to upload the Before Bokeh photo but still doesn't do it.

Hi, Dawn! Thank you so much for your kind comment. I also like the rings elements (Cassel's Basic Scrap Course). The corner punches really give a nice touch to any page. I remember that I saw a few of your projects using them and I love it. Then I remembered that I had the brushes but hadn't used yet. :) That is why is so good when we participate in the challenges, post our projects here.... we learn a lot from each other.
-
I am trying to upload the photo... I see the percentage that is being uploaded but it doesn't show in the Upload Image preview and it doesn't show here...probably a glitch...I will try later
