Today is your birthday, but we are the ones that are getting the presents! I already did my shopping - it's hard to choose!
Even after all these years, I am always amazed by your creativity and skills.
Best wishes, and enjoy your day! <3

I don't remember when I posted something in this thread, and I still have nothing, but I love to see what everyone is creating... I am still creating layouts for the Template Workshop, and at the same time, I am reviewing my Scripting Lessons.
Mary, Bonnie, Ann, Marie-Claire, Trish, Michele, Lynda, Pirkko, Colin Hooson, Susan, Sue, lovely, creative, and fun work as always!

Here is Day 3 - Template 3 Diamond
This time I tweaked a little bit more... added one more paper and one more photo.
I used some elements and papers from the "DiHiller_PS 2021Jul Nature Walk" free kit (DigitalScrapbook.com).
From Cassel: LiftedPhoto script and WordFrame (Lab8-Module02).
Again, I changed the colors of the greeneries, adding a solid color underneath them and changing the blend mode to Overlay.
Fonts: Candy Round BTN and Label Creator; this one was a treat from my good friend, Sue Thomas. Thank you, Sue!

Hi Joyce, I had the same issue... I'd suggest you send Carole an email, and she will send the link.

More inspiring and great layouts were posted in the last few days. This thread is really a hit. Great job, everyone!
Corrie, it was great to go along with you on this balloon ride! I would love to do this as well... probably in another life! :)

I love what Everyone has posted... Fun, creative, lovely, and touching layouts. What a great group!
Late as usual, here is my Day 2 page... I used the "Template 2 - Diamond" and tweaked it slightly... For the PaintSplash, I've just changed the Brightness.
Usually, when I use the same photo, one is Black and White, but this time I thought it was not coming out the way I wanted... So, I had one layer with the Black and White photo, added the original photo on top of this layer, and lowered the opacity... Maybe, I could have done the same by lowering the photo saturation.
I used "marisaL-prettythings-glitter-brown2" tile and created the polkadot paper (Cassel's tutorial).

Here is Template 1 - Lesson 1
The papers I used are from a kit by Marisa Lerin (DSF June 2012). For two of them, to change the color and keep the pattern, I added a layer with a solid color, then on top of this layer, the patterned paper and changed the Blend Mode of the latter.

I've also registered for this workshop.
Nice to see so many projects posted already!

It is heartbroken to see what is happening. My thoughts and prayers to everyone who is being affected by this in one way or another. :'-( ... In a way, the whole world is. :(

Ann, thank you! :D ... I sure need it! Lol

Wow, this Mask Workshop is really a hit! Nice to see already so many entries. Great work, Everyone!
After more than a year or so of not working with layouts, here is what I've created for Lesson 1. I rotate the photo/frame layer to fit the photo I had, and I merged the photo and stroke layers to create the mask.

Yes, I am! It's been a long while since the last time I worked with masks, and they give a great effect.

Carole, this app can be very useful, and I love the colors of this palette.
I agree with Minka; you all have created beautiful and creative layouts. It's a joy to look at them all! Great work, Trish, Anne, Pirkko, Corrie, and Sue!

Corrie and Ann, your messages have been delivered. :)
Here is a message to all from Annie:
"Thanks again... The campus lassies are truly lovely and supportive … love you all. <3"
-
Hi Michele :)
I'll relay your message too. She will be very happy for sure.
-
I love to see what you are all doing: the new ideas, techniques, scripts, you name it, lots of inspiration for the future.
Great work, EVERYONE!

Hi Lynda,
I will let her know, and she will be happy with the best wishes. :)
She went to the doctor, and ...
" it appears that the blurred vision is being caused by a small bleed at the back of the left eye. It is putting pressure on the lens and distorting the vision. Dr. J is not worried about it, and it should clear up in a few weeks. Meanwhile, I am to rest up and not do anything too strenuous."

Carole, I like the idea of using the board game as a timeline... I am quite sure I haven't created any layout for this Lab6-M12, and your suggestion will help to add it in a different way... Anyway, I am so behind with the Lab lessons that I don't know which module I will start with when I finish the scripting course.

Message from Annie Tobin:
"Monique, Ann, Michele, Marie-Claire, Bonnie, Anne, Mary Solaas, and Corrie … you are amazing troopers and I accept your well wishes in good grace. It sure has been a trial and all I can do is wait … obviously I need to have lessons in patience which has never been one of my virtues, lol!

Thank you, Monique, Ann, and Michele! I am sure she will be very happy with the best wishes. In times like this, having support from friends is very important and therapeutic.

Hi Everyone,
Annie Tobin asked me to let all of you, who are wondering where she is, know that she didn’t abandon the Campus.
She has had a lens replacement surgery, and the eyes have not adjusted well to the procedure. Also, the eyes are very light-sensitive, so she is very limited now in what she can do.
She hopes that things will get to normal in a not too distant future… So do I.
What are you working on (in May 2022)?

Ann, this is a beautiful calendar layout, and so is the photo.
Betsy, nice layout with the split photo freebie... I like the split photo scripts very much.
Sue, it had to be you to come up with this creative way to use the Paper Brick Wall Script! ... I am taking notes :)
Pirkko and Anne, nice layouts to showcase the flowers... I like hibiscus.
