  1. Beautiful work dear Cristina! You have kept it simple and thus very effective. Although I can admire complex pages I am consistently drawn to simplicity. I like to showcase the photo/image and often times the more complex pages overwhelm what should be the focus ... just my opinion ... of course, LOL! <3
  2. Thanks dear Minka! You are no doubt right and the white Christmas may have to come off my bucket list. I note that as I get older my body has little tolerance for extremes in heat or cold. Last summer was a killer here in Australia and winter was a longed for reprieve ... but ... now that the autumn has set in and the nights are cooler I am already thinking about woolly slippers and flanny pjs, LOL! Are we ever really satisfied? ... planet earth is a planet of extremes, ;D
  3. I made an alpha following Cassel's tutorial in Master Class for Monogramming in Style.  I created a patchwork paper and then went to work.  Boy oh boy ... it did take an age to create the full alpha.  I am just glad that the font I used (Oliver) did not have lower case otherwise it would have taken another couple of days, lol!  Thanks for takin a peek!
  4. Hi Colleen. I cannot see a post from you and unlike Lynda I did not receive an email. A similar thing happened to me a couple of months ago and I figured that it had to do with 2 people posting at exactly the same time. One post seems to go through but the other misses. Just my observation Hon. <3
  5. I found this wonderful photo of a puffin on Unsplash while I was searching seabirds.  Of course I had to do something with it.  The layout I used was inspired by one of Marisa Lerin's from Pixel Scrapper.  I used Cassel's paint splash script on the photo and her cube beads script for the title.  The flair button and the sticker were both created from tutorials by Cass.  All the background papers are my own as is the paint splash background.  Thanks for takin a peek!
  6. Hi y'all. The photo switch challenge is fun ... have you tried it yet? Minka is waiting for someone else to join so that she can be paired. Beware, this challenge makes you think extra creatively because you are doing a page for someone else. I am really thrilled with the page Sue created for my photo, pop in to see. It is great fun ... come on in and have a play!!!
  7. Well Sue, I was not sure which way to go so I have created two pages.

For the first I used my layout template and the papers etcetera are from a kit titled 'Cowgirl's Life'.

The second I again used my layout, the papers I created and used different blends to achieve contrasting effects.  The poppy flower and horseshoe are out of my growing collection of elements.  The pointer is one from Pixel Scrappers and I think that I created the journal frame but ... if you find out that I am fibbing let me know as I don't want to take credit for something I did not create.  I hope these are to your satisfaction Sue.  I love this photo for it's simplicity and raw beauty.

If you would like the uncompressed file for either or both just let me know via email and I will attach for you.

    Thank you my friend.  <3
