  1. OMG! Sue this is truly beautiful. You have really showcased the photo beautifully and the other photos accompany it nicely. They are lovely photos ... yours I presume. All the work you have done is so splendidly accomplished and the misted flowers blended in are just perfect. Challenge well met! Thank you Sue, so very much appreciated. My email addy is annie.tobin@outlook.com Hugs to you my friend. <3
  2. Minka, you are most welcome. I love how you have blended in with the animal community. I have always found that if you are accepted by the wildlife then you feel more 'at home' ... a sense of really belonging. The wildlife instinctively know who they can trust especially among us human beings. You should feel very proud ... well done Hon.
  3. Hi Trish. I am doing fine for now my friend. The copd plays up a bit especially in the morning and early evening ... that is the norm for me now. Our supermarkets had stopped the click and collect a couple of weeks ago which was the main way that I shopped but I think the Aussie Government has convinced them to bring it back online for the vulnerable. The last time I was in the supermarket there was very little in the meat isle and the toilet paper, tissue and hand sanitizer shelves were empty. My daughter and I have agreed to shop on a "as need" basis seeing as the supermarkets are remaining open. Huge job losses here in Australia so the recession has set in big time. I remember when my parents and grandparents talked about the great depression and I never thought that I would see similar. I do grow a few herbs but I think I will grow a few veggies as well ... one never knows! Australia has closed their state borders so no travel interstate and borders will be policed strictly. Fines of up to $15,000 may apply and with the dollar value dropping I don't think people will be too keen to push the button. Sorry to hear that you have no food! Are you able to access any other form of help? No matter what restriction or help is offered there are always those who slip through the loop and you may be one of them Trish ... you need to holler loud and clear! Take good care my friend. At least here on the campus we can talk about our woes. Much love. <3
  4. Thanks Sue. I just love this photo and will definitely look to showcase it well. I will probably take a couple of days as I am battling with my copd at present. Self quarantined because of this darn virus which is causing so much havoc. It should give me more time to play but I am just so tired ... well, that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it, ;D I hope you are staying safe and well. If you are out and about in that beautiful country you should be fine. <3

P.S. I had a feeling that you would recognise that sculpture, it is quite amazing.

  5. Hi Sue.  Here is my photo for you to use in this challenge.  It is of my friend Carolyn when she was on an overseas trip about 6 years ago.  I am not sure where this photo was taken ... somewhere in Europe.  Carolyn is a Clinical Nurse for Palliative Care here in Bundaberg and originally did her training in England where she was born and bred.  She is a living saint, :)  I think we will have fun with this.  <3
  6. Lovely play around Trish. Did the colour washout happen when you downsized? I have had a similar problem with psp 2020 and have been waiting for it to happen again so that I can let Cassel know the steps that led to the washed out result. It only happens when I downsize but as I said previously it has not happened for a little while. <3
  7. Dorothy, Trish, Gerry and Art ... well done my friends. A delight to peruse, thank you.

This is my scavenger hunt. The photo is of my friend Jenn and myself ... I was trying to suck my tummy in but it didn't work, LOL! I used papers from a Pixel Scrapper kit and the layout by Elif Sahin ... slightly modified. Thanks for takin a peek!

  8. Hello my Scrapbook Campus Friends. Australia is very slowly succumbing to the virus as are most nations from what I hear. There are so many differing restriction laws bouncing around from nation to nation that it only serves to confuse most of us.

New Zealanders responded very quickly and I applaud them. It is interesting that the over populated country of India was managing to contain the virus but it would appear on this morning's news that their numbers are rapidly growing.

Here in Australia we have been asked to restrict our excursions, limiting them to essential only, such as doctor, pharmacy and supermarkets. We have also been asked to maintain a 4 square meter distance between each other. Can you imagine how that rule would apply in India! The supermarket shelves are sadly empty of a lot of items ... toilet paper, tissues, hand sanitizers and ground/minced meat. I am not sure why the meat is on that list but at times like these ... go figure! Games, concerts and any public gatherings have been cancelled. Our Prime Minister was most ashamed of the panic buying and gave those Aussies responsible a well deserved slap on the wrist via a dressing down on national tv. Unfortunately, a lot of people become self absorbed during these times ... hopefully I do not venture down that track.

I am in self isolation for 2 weeks as I collected two friends from the airport on Thursday. They had arrived back to Hervey Bay from Sydney (an Australian hot zone) after disembarking off a cruise ship which has since been declared as COVID-19 impacted. We had a 2 hour trip from Hervey Bay to Bundaberg in the confined space of a car so I think it only fair that I keep myself away from the public. I will be 68 in June and I have copd so a little comprised there.

It is a sad time for planet Earth and it's inhabitants. I wish everyone the very best of health and may your inner peace over-ride any fears during these times. Please know that you are always in the perfect space for you!

Hugs and Love ...... Annie T

  9. Shirley, triple concentration, well done my friend. <3

ScrapRic, some serious concentration going on here ... I love the quote ... well done. ;D

C Vandenberg, sometimes a page just speaks for itself ... well done on your scrapkit exploration. :)

  10. Day 7 done and dusted!  I used utilised the scrapkit "Vintage Bibliotheque" for the background papers, alpha and the coin.  The frame I created myself and the bulldog clip was in my elements collection ... I colorized the flat flower.  Thanks for takin a peek!
  11. Dear Lynda, this is a truly beautiful page and a wonderful tribute to your mom and your son. I have always found that people who have endured this type of sadness are the most understanding, giving and loving human beings. You lost your son as did Trish and the loving light shines in both of you. Well done my friend. <3
  12. Okay ... I have said this before and I am going to say it again, beautiful work coming through here. We all present our pages in different ways and that is what makes it delightful to view. Different photos call for differing colours and theme components. And, I love to see the newbies stepping up to give a twist to the layout. What a Campus, thank you my friends. <3
