  1. At the Passover Seder at my grandparent's home, we would have to find the hidden matzo (the afikoman). No matter who found it, my grandpa would give us each a quarter.
  2. M = Matzo ~ a little something for Passover ?
  3. I = Indulge (lots of goodies to eat)
  4. I think if you put a border around the letters, they would be more legible. There are several methods you can use, but one of the easier ones is to use the magic wand with contiguous unchecked, invert selection, then select selection borders.
  5. I ALWAYS do that...with just about everything. I end up with so many layers that I don't use and then delete them. But for me it's easier than having to start over. ?
  6. Thanks, Carol. I used a picture tube for the flowers, but I'm sure you already knew that. ❤️
  7. Just be patient and keep at it. It's taken me years and I still have so much to learn.
  8. There are several historical villages here as NY was settled hundreds of years ago. The only historical place I can remember going to (bad memory plus getting old) is Sagamore Hill here on Long Island. It was a beautiful day and very cool to see.
  9. Well, Day 1 is finished. I hope I can make time to do the rest of the days, too.
  10. I just looked at lesson 1 and all I can think of is Baby Got Back by Sir Mixalot. (? I Love Big Butts ?) LOL
  11. Cassel's St Patrick Template came in handy when I had to do a quick Daily Look for my gaming group. I really hate when I don't have time, but Cass saved the day!
  12. G = Guinness, lots of pints of Guinness.?
  13. I thought I would go very "scrapbooky" for this theme as I thought it was a silly phrase to address Daylight Saving Time. All of the papers and elements are from Chantahlia Designs except the bow. I used the CD ribbon with Cassel's Bow 18 script. The font is Sunblast from FDR (Free Design Resources). Everything on the Chantahlia Designs website is free...yes, everything! I don't remember how I learned about CD, but I'm so happy I signed up for her newsletters. Lots of her papers come in many different hues and her themed sets usually include papers, elements, washi tape, brads, alphas, etc.
  14. I love all of Cassel's punch brushes, but I just got the new Edge Punches - B - PSP Brushes. I couldn't wait to try them out and I didn't have a project, but I certainly had some fun just playing around!
  15. OMG, I'm dying. Can't stop laughing.
  16. I like the Corrs, but they combine traditional with more current music. Planxty is one of my favorites; Christy Moore has an incredible voice.
  17. I can't give credit for the illustration because I couldn't find the original on Google. Layered a couple of papers by Gina Jones from PS and played with the opacity to get the hue I wanted. I used a rounded rectangular selection to change the shape of the pic and added a couple of select selection borders on separate layers. Some clipart from DSS to add some interest. The font is Sexy Beachy from DaFont.
  18. CF had some amazing watercolor carriages; it was hard to choose just one. I added my avatar from the game just for fun. This is a little late for the seamless topic from February, but I clipped some floral elements from the original carriage pic and used Cassel's seamless pattern script. I flood filled a new layer with it and lowered the opacity above a solid layer. The font is from DaFont and it's called Atziluth.
