Hi here is my day 1 September boot camp project. It is pretty basic unfortunately with no frills. Hopefully I will become more adventurous in the coming days.

Happy to be here again, I was a late starter with the double take and I found it very challenging and I had big issues so I hope to do much better in this one although I am out of town helping a friend with a house shift and not in my own environment. However I am looking forward to it and many thanks to Cassel for her time and patience.

Thanks Sharon for your kind remarks.

Hi, Double take -Day 2 comes in a bit quicker. Each year I take some shots around my summer garden. These were taken in 2014. It looked pretty colorful that year and Mr Fred came to stay. This is a great way to show off our photos that usually only we get to ponder over. I live in a secret paradise where our 4 seasons are very different. We are known as the hottest wee town in the summer and the coldest in the winter and the in between seasons are very pretty.

Hi, This is my Day 1 challenge, better late than never. All the photos are mine, and taken around our little piece of paradise. Page 1 shows our hometown rivers lakes and bridges. Page 2 shows our hometown seasons, and the larger upload is my summer garden.

Hi,
Apart from being a late starter due to computer issues, I am still getting through Day 1 which I have found that if you sway just the tiniest wee bit from the instructions you are in trouble, to which I have been many times. Good news I have completed the 1st page of day 1, and would like to do page 2 same as the soccer girl with the larger picture as in the tutorial. That would give me a 4 photo block and 1 larger photo, plus the header now on the bottom but I don't know how to take away the extra frames to fit the larger photo in. Help !!!.

I can go back to 2012 or 13 myself. I have attended and enjoyed many presentations. Cassel you are a gem, so helpful and inspirational. I think teejay would be a very early starter.

Hi, I have registered, but not able to start the double take yet as I have had a busy week.
I recently cremated my laptop and just received my new one after a 3 month break. I was ready to start tonight, and I have done another whoopsee, not a bad one but I don't know how to get out of it so will need to get some help tomorrow.
I would like to tell what happened to my old laptop because it was such a freak accident I would not like it to happen to you. I prepared to charge my tablet and my usual multi power connection plug was full so I chose to charge it through my laptop, I made the connection and walked away, when I returned and removed the connection alarm bells rang big time and my usb ports were deemed unusable and it would not even accept my mouse dongle.Three techs were unable to correct the fault. Long story short the big boy experts decided I had overpowered the mother board. Fortunately my insurance helped out. It was the first time I had charged in this way.

Last day, probably a little bit messy, but I am keen to get on with some other projects. Thanks Cassel I have enjoyed getting back to psp basics again.

Today I have chosen the day my late husband caught his 1st salmon, and used the elements from dedesmith as in the tutorial

Over the top live tutorial.
This was very informative, but I did have difficulty with the brush variance I was using x8. I haven't had time to finish downloading all the features of x9 yet. Snow was interesting. I made it on pic 2 and used it again on pic 1. Thanks Cassel for these presentations.

These photos were taken recently of my late husbands 1st memorial dart competition. The top photo is from left my daughter, grandson, myself, and great grandson. The tournament was won by our Grandson.
Very special to have 4 generations Participating and enjoying the day with friends.

For day 4 I used the free scrap elements from the sweet shoppe. Because they were nautical I looked in unsplash for a suitable image, and this one sort of stood out! I realised when I was doing the drop shadow that the black wasn't showing up very well against the dark colours, so would be inclined to watch that in future and use lighter colour papers.

Hi Sharon, I think less is more. Sometimes I think the theme can be lost with multiple elements. Nice work.

Sorry I posted on the wrong post.

Friends are special.

I gave my Grandson the Bugs Bunny soft toy for his 1st Birthday. It still goes places with him. I made and iced this chocolate cake for his 9th Birthday. He is 25 now Bugs is still his favourite, well next to the pokamons of course.
Thanks Cassel for the template.

Tia came to N Z for a holiday and was excited when it snowed.

In my 1st design, "captured)"I have used the brush variance for the splodge and brush dots as described within the the coffee stain tutorial. Also it was used on a masterclass using the brush variance. I made the narrow gold frames also from a masterclass.

My 2nd design " Goldy's Gates" I have framed my pictures using the frame idea from the Basic scrap course 1 and the burnt edges from the bake up course.
