I don't know what it is with me and "cute" pics this week, but that looks like the best ice cream date ever! The frame (it started out as a paper) is from a Scrap Designers Blog Train; the tricky part was changing the dimensions from 3600 x 3600 to 3000 x 2000. Facebook changed how it displays pics a while ago so if you don't change it, FB adds its own borders. I wish I had enough time to create more of my own stuff, but I only have an hour or two every day from inspiration to fruition. Anyway, I thought the frame really complimented the little girl and her puppy. The little waffle cone heart in the top right corner is from CF. I used two fonts, Summer's Ice Cream and Ferrero Rocker; the first one was all cones which I thought was too much.

I did download Fractal Explorer but haven't had a chance to play with it yet.  I just love what you are doing with it.  I did think about the repeat patterns in nature and thought about the repeats in a flower especially - the petals, the sepals.  Never really thought about it until your postings.  Love what you do.

What version of Fractal Explorer did you download? I asked because in net should be only 2.02 version. Newer version (2.03) bought my fried from Arthur Sierotvinski. My friend was going to "translate" to new language PYTHON but he died:(( so ...we/I sti have an old FE:(((((((((((((

Kasany - how do you do your fractals?  They look like some of the stuff done with the Kaleidescope effect in PSP and some of the other tools, but only kind of.

Corrie - I have a pspimage of a national highway sign which are the other ones in that pattern.  How can I get it to you? Does Facebook accept pspimages?

Mary, you can find everything in fractal, if you see it.

Lovely things you are working on.  That paint frame is intriguing.  I made 2 from transparent ribbons and downloaded the freebie from Cassel but haven't used them yet.  I'm just OCDing about patterns for papers.  In working my way through the alphabet challenge from 2022 I can't make up my mind about V - vacatiion? or Valentine Day? So I made a pattern of cars and road signs for a paper for vacation (since I really like road trips).  I'll show you the pattern and one of the papers I made from it.  I haven't yet played with that cut out circle.  I'll also include the 2 transparent ribbon frames in a later post.

I love the font you used with this!  Very cohesive. It looks like all you did was put that same pen to a ruler to make those frames.

For the background I adapted "Spring landscape with flowers" from  Creative fabrica.   The Alphabet is one that is on the $1 special (at least it is still there today 5/27) The butterflies are mostly from C F also but some may be from other places.  Mostly I just wanted to use that beautiful Alpha.

I have finally completed my project 'Bee Happy' so this is what I have been working on in May. I made the hanging bees for the purpose of decorative bug hotels for my garden.

In PSP I used the Fringe Effect technique from Lab13 Module 5 for the grass layer & a reverse shadow then added a texture with the grass picture tube.

I used various papers and images from the Digital Scrapbook site and studied 6 ways to add borders from the Campus Blog.

Fine and funny post:) It would look great on FB where&when people say about bees.

  8. Lesson7.

Carole, thank you very much for the recent workshop:)))))) It was a fine work with a double page. I knew some trends of doble page. I know certain places where I can use/find really great templates of double page. In short words: THANKS FOR ALL:)))))))))))))))

Thank you for all members who were working with double pages. Your works inspired me. THANKS:)))))))))))))))

  9. My 5 and 6 lesson in one double pic. I've looked for the right 32bit ICE for long time. I found a .zip file which contains 32bit and 64bit. I'll send it to Carole, if she want to.

MY 5&6 LESSONS : An image on the top is a result of ICE's action. ICE used two images (presented on the bottom)

Here is Lesson 5 - My husband and I owned and operated the Warwick Drive-In Theater from 1977 - 1997. Frank's daughter Beth and her husband took over ownership and are still operating it today. I do a little work from home on advertising and social media for the theater. It happened to be a panoramic photo I had handy so, though I don't usually "toot our horn" here we are! The title font is Elephant. The background is a gradient with a little grass texture. We are open every night from March through Halloween. We're located in New York's Mid-Hudson Valley, about 60 miles from New York City. Our visitors have been know to drive up from Long Island for the weekend as there are lots of things to do in our area, including the newest Legoland.
