Marie-Claire Posted October 23, 2020 Posted October 23, 2020 I am not new to the scrapbook campus, but I am new as a diamond member. I first looked at what there is to discover, and yesterday I made a few lessons. I am not sure where to put my work in the forum, because I made 1 creation with 3 different lessons. LAB 5 module 1: Punched out Border Creative Scrap: Notebook Paper and Straight Pin. As for the straight pin, I think the shade could be better, but I don't know which settings to use. 1
Cassel Posted October 23, 2020 Posted October 23, 2020 It is totally fine to post on its own thread. You can ALSO post in the monthly "What are you working on" thread. What settings did you use for the straight pin? It is showing a bit small on the resized version, so it is hard to identify the shadow itself. 1
Marie-Claire Posted October 24, 2020 Author Posted October 24, 2020 My program is in the Dutch language, I hope my translation is correct. I used the following settings for the shadow Horizontal 2, Vertical 2, Opacity 100, Blur 2 When making the pin I did not put a shadow. I placed the shadow after placing the pin in my creation. Maybe that is not the correct way ? I have to say that I am never quite sure what to use as settings for a shadow. 1
Marie-Claire Posted October 25, 2020 Author Posted October 25, 2020 I just saw the sheet cheat at the basic scrap course, where I now see that basic settings are noted for the shadow. when is the best time to use reverse shadow? 1
Cassel Posted October 25, 2020 Posted October 25, 2020 Marie-Claire, I did a little tutorial on the "reverse shadows" HERE. It will give you examples when to use them. 1
