Bonus Week 54

This was one of the papers I made in the paper workshop.  When i was looking at what font/color etc to do for the Vectors I kept thinking how nice this red looked.  I did add a shadow (hard to see) but it sure makes the outline and vector stand out even more.  And I am done.  yay!

Susan you did it and your cards look fabulous! Congrats.

My last week will come later today, but now I just have time to answer the question of going on or change this format before I have to cook my courgette soup. Being almost at the end of this P52 challenge I already asked myself if I would like to continue in 2025. I gave you in 52 weeks and impression of my life and it doesn't appeal to me to repeat that because there would be many things that are going to be the same. Also I only want to do something where I can use my own photos, this is a personal choice of course. Being somewhat stuck in the place where I live without a car and with my husband not able to travel anymore a theme about travel, places, nature etc will give me not enough photos to use either. In the A - Z challenge I already used the place where I live and have a printed album as well. Of course I travel to California to visit my family and hopefully I can go in 2025, but that are just a couple of weeks. However I did love this P52 challenge and most of all doing it with you all, but I tend to go with some of Rene's ideas for a monthly challenge. However I'm open for new ideas as well.

Wow, Suz, it was worth it to wait for this beautiful teacup and layout. *patting you on the back* for this awesome accomplishment!

Congratulations Susan - you have done amazingly well and been a constant source of inspiration with your creativity.

Thank you so much Ann and Sharla, that means the world to me.  I have been equally inspired by your creations which fuel my passion to go all the way to the end.  It's been a wonderful adventure with all that played alone, whether all the way or just a bit or to post supportive comments.  All of it kept us going.

thank you so much Corrie.  I don't think I could have done it without everyone else posting (graphics or comments).  I think this format gave me the discipline (accountability) to make sure I didn't give up.  I know I wouldn't tackle this type of project on my own....because I have projects like that in my head but it's so daunting that I haven't started them.  Being in group setting seems to get me going more.

I had a think and I wonder if more than one option would be a good idea. Perhaps we could start with 3 different year long challenges. Maybe something like:
1. Weekly. The P52 because it works great for people just wanting to showcase a photo as well as giving the option for a project like the one Susan did this year with the teacups.
2. A monthly scrapbook one like the one suggested by Rene that could focus on each month – people could personalise it or make it about the month.
3. Fortnightly. Something like the A-Z challenge but with a specific theme like PLACES. The somewhat neutral theme of places would allow for as much or as little personalisation as anyone wanted. Each person could choose their specific theme such as a local area, region, country, a continent, rivers, waterfalls, lakes, temples, cathedrals, villages, oceans, cities, castles, tourist attractions, holidays travel, home, space, parks, historical properties…

One project I need to do that I'm putting off is documenting my vintage cameras/accessories, so I think the P52 would fit the bill.  I like the idea of the fortnightly one, but wonder if a person could pick their own theme.  that way I could tackle some of those photo ideas that are floating around my head and I would finally take the time needed in the studio.  it seems weird (probably) to others, that I don't document my life that much, who wants to bore the hair off their head when all I have to show is work and cats.  OMG!...just now, a piece of hair fell out of my head.  aaaaahhh.

I wholeheartedly agree with you, being in a group inspires me and makes me go on. I never would have finished this P52 on my own, just like the A - Z challenge we had in 2022. I was planning on reviewing the scripting course on my own because I really loved it, but I keep putting it off.😕

I did this challenge with photos of my life to compliment the All About Me one. Together they would make a nice printed album.

I do the same, keep putting things off.  I always think I need a block of time (a good amount) to dive into something I've been putting off and i always find a reason why I cant start.  Yeesh, I thought I'd grow out of that as I got older.  I do hope you find time to continue with the scripting.  I'm not one to have New Years resolutions, but I do like to review what I did and what I wanted to do but didnt.  And I try to figure out a way (in the new year) to get some time in on the stuff I really wanted to do or learn.  So far, I'm dismal at this, but I wont give up.

And this is week 52! Just the table decoration my husband bought us today. He has been ill again and today was the first day he felt good enough to go out for a little walk.

I think I have said it before it was great to see all the very different entrees for this challenge and it was nice to have an ongoing project. Thank you all very much for the comments and inspiration. If we are going to do something again I tend to a fortnightly one, or another A-Z one.

That's so pretty.  I like your yellow glitter too, it's festive.
