The Font Thing question

I have been trying to figure out how to open or use The font thing. I checked the Blog post and here is What Cassel posted and what I got when I downloaded it. 

Can anyone tell me what I need to do?

@Anne Lamp You have the correct files but your system is not showing the extensions, which is why you don't see any .exe file. For the extensions to appear, you have to do the following:

- in your windows Explorer, click the View tab on top

- find (toward the right) a checkbox that says "File Name extension" and check it

That will make the .exe appear and will help you find the correct file to use.

Thanks for the reply.  I did that but now get a notice saying This app can't run on your PC check with the software publisher.  I guess I am out of luck. I tried downloads from several different places and they all said the same thing.  Oh well it was worth  a try.  I am sure that file name extension advice will be helpful for other things.

That is strange because I use it myself, on Windows 10 and although it takes a while to load, it never gave me any error message.

I know that you do, and are happy with it. I need to talk to my computer guys that I got this one from.  I know they had some trouble getting some of my files off the old one, so maybe they will have an idea what to do.  Maybe  something didn't make it to my new PC.  I at least have fontcloud to save my fonts to, and I downloaded  Nexusfont but did not think I would like it, but I guess I will work on that one some more to see if I can get my head around it. I have read your tutorial on it a few times but I didn't think I would like the set up.

Ik heb hetzelfde probleem (gehad) met TFT. Zoekend naar de oorzaak blijkt omdat het op de lijst staat van sites die hun klanten adressen doorverkopen aan criminelen niet meer wordt geaccepteerd door Microsoft (NL)  H et programma staat op de zwarte lijst. Tweede mogelijkheid is dat je pc niet de capaciteit meer heeft om het verouderde bestand te accepteren.  Wie o wie kan er een nieuwe voor ons maken????
