Cassel Posted October 1, 2017 Posted October 1, 2017 https://scrapbookcampus.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/07/Mystery-Challenge.jpg This week, let's try something ... different. This month, let's make a project with a LIST. We often see those lists of the top 10 places I visited, or the top 5 things I wish I never did, or so. But it does not have to be a "top list". How about a list of 5 things you like to do on a rainy day, or your 10 favorite food, or maybe the 5 most hilarious things your kids said. And there are many ways to post a list on a project. How would you do it? Go!
Cassel Posted October 1, 2017 Author Posted October 1, 2017 I will start with a layout I did, several years ago for an "Amazing Digital Scrapbooking Race" (a twist on The Amazing Race).
Cristina Posted October 2, 2017 Posted October 2, 2017 Cassel, I still have to think something for this challenge... no ideas yet, but I really like your layout and the way you used the Word Art for the title. The webinar yesterday about this was great I will see what I can come up with all ideas you gave us.
AprilDawn Posted October 3, 2017 Posted October 3, 2017 Hello Cassel, you created a really nice page..... I will have to put my thinking cap on for some ideas for this challenge. Also Thank You for the free Clothes Shapes.. they may well come in handy for this challenge. best wishes, Dawn.
Cristina Posted October 5, 2017 Posted October 5, 2017 I managed to come up with something for this challenge after all. I tried to practice the graffiti technique that Cassel showed last month in the Masterclass-Touch It. I used the Berlin Sans FB Demi and Arial Black fonts. The pearl scatter is an older freebie but the file doesn't have the name of the designer.
AprilDawn Posted October 5, 2017 Posted October 5, 2017 Hi Cristina! your layout is very nice. Cycling and hiking must keep you both very fit and it is wonderful to see that you enjoy spending time together.... best wishes to you. Ideas haven't been coming to quickly for me of late however here is my contribution for this challenge. These are my favourite flowers.. the Rose,Orchid, Pansy and Carnation photos are from Pixabay. The Hibiscus was done with a purchased script. The font is Prida02Calt I have used it again because it has become one of my favourites. I have used Cassel's FlashCard Script to frame the photos. Dawn.
Marlene Lingham Posted October 6, 2017 Posted October 6, 2017 Some lovely pages here, I really like the way Cassel used the tags. I have cheated a bit, I made a card for someone who was retiring a while ago, but it fits the challenge so I thought I would add it here rather than making something new. The background was from a travel kit I had and the other clip is from various places.
Cristina Posted October 6, 2017 Posted October 6, 2017 Hi, Dawn and Marlene, both of yours layout are really lovely. Dawn, I like the colors and the way you used the flash card script as a frame. Marlene, I like the travel background with the vintage look. I also liked the way Cassel used the tags... a good idea that I may use one day.
AprilDawn Posted October 6, 2017 Posted October 6, 2017 Hello Cristina, Thank you for your comment on my page. I appreciate it. best wishes, Dawn.
Cassel Posted October 7, 2017 Author Posted October 7, 2017 Thank you, Dawn for your comment on my page. Marlene, it is quite ok to post an existing page. I did too! Dawn, those flashcards seem so perfect to showcase those flowers! good choice. Cristina, it is great to document such pleasant things in life, things that sometimes, we take for granted!
Cristina Posted October 8, 2017 Posted October 8, 2017 Thank you, Dawn, Marlene, and Cassel for the comments. :)
AprilDawn Posted October 9, 2017 Posted October 9, 2017 Thank you Cassel for your kind comments on my page... the FlashCard Script is a very handy script to have in my collection. Marlene, your page is really nice. I love all things vintage and your page turned out great. best wishes, Dawn.
