@Cassel No, Carol, sadly I did not get to see the Northern Lights. But when I received those photos from the kids, I was just as excited for them as they were. 🙂 Lesson 2

Lesson 1 The kids sent two photos to me that night. The second one was the same shot from the backyard without them in it. So, I cut out a piece of the sky and used it to fill my text.

Lesson 5 - The sun element came from an old scrapbook kit I made years ago called Keeping Cool. The saying is by Walt Whitman. This lesson was easy for me since I've used text on a path numerous times in the past. And in this case reverse path did make sense to me.

@Cassel When I did the cut-out for the opening at the top of the cup, I had to play back the tutorial so I could see step by step again what I had to do. The reverse path makes no sense to me. My old brain doesn't retain stuff very well anymore either. 😞

Lesson 3 First image shows the leaf after I edited all the nodes. Second image shows samples after the vector was exported.

Lesson 2

Lesson 1 - On the heart, I used no stroke and the fill was a gradient. The arrow is white stroke and a pattern for the fill.

Thank you, Carol. Every one I tried had the format .8bf, but I didn't know about the 32 bits versus 64 bits. At least now I understand why I can't get them to work. AV Bros. had a page curl filter that I used to curl ribbons and other things. It's one I would like to have back.

The only plugins I got to work in PSP 2023 are Particle Effects, which came with the download of PSP, and Filter Forge 3. I have a folder full of plugins I used to have working in my old version of PSP. I followed a few tutorials on how to get them to work in 2023, but to no avail. Can anybody name some of the plugins they have working in 2023, please? Thank you! 🙂
