  1. Yep....
  2. I could not find where to change the size of the nodes in PSP 2019, and I was seeing different things than Carole was showing in the video, so I switched to PSP 2020 and I didn't bother to look for where to change the node size because I was already frustrated......I worked with vectors in the "Beginners Workshop" several years ago. It was challenging then too. Some of it I remember, but not much.
  3. I have made a heart, and an arrow! And nodes are STILL frustrating! And remembering to switch to the Pen tool IS important! I am not posting anything today, because I am going to wait for Carole to give the Exporting directions tomorrow? I hope to have more time to be frustrated tomorrow ?
  4. I'm here too....because 'nodes' are frustrating...hope to tame them!
  5. Also check www.worldcat.org
  6. How about ArchiveGrid - https://researchworks.oclc.org/archivegrid/
  7. Did you look at archive.org ?
  8. Day 6 - PSP2019 there is no rope tube. I used stitch, and it just looks weird. It looks like it put each letter on a new layer too. I guess there is some setting i would need to change.
  9. I'm calling this Day 2 & 3--I used my title for Day 2, on my Day 3 page. I'm not sure if that makes me efficient or a slacker ? I don't know why, but my text became a 'floating selection'. It took me a bit of time to figure out what to change, so it was a frustrating evening! I imagine there is some reason you would want text to be a 'floating selection', but I don't know why.
  10. Susan--my first real 35 mm camera was a Ricoh XR1, which I still have. But I don't know if I could still buy 35 mm film today. I bought my Ricoh when I graduated from high school because I could not afford a Pentax K1000, and the Ricoh was very similar and cheaper, and used the Pentax K-mount lenses. Good memory!
  11. Julie--I have had the same thing happen with the Text tool and Materials Palette! I was beginning to think I was crazy! Oh, maybe I am crazy but at least someone else has has experienced the same issue...
  12. Day 1 title--this was going to be a page with a photo of my garden seedlings inside just beginning to grow. But since it is Day 2 already, that page won't be happening right now, so I am posting just my text title.
  13. I am here, I also hope I have time...
  14. I think I have too many things on my plate this week.....or too many things on my mind. I don't seem to have time to focus on the process for this workshop. I try to watch the lesson each day and look thru all the forum posts!
  15. On Lesson 1, the greeting card template-- Do I make each of the Stroke layers into a mask??? I'm lost.
  16. Did I miss the announcement of who won the prizes? Congratulaions to whoever did!
  17. Project 5 -- I'm gonna call it 'done'. It has taken several days, created some frustration. Maybe added a few more gray hairs on my head ? I know there are only 3 small squares. I made 4, but when I began merging them into one layer I realized I had the last one on a layer with something else....and I decided 3 squares were good ? Now that I have thought about it, I suppose I could have used the history to figure out where I messed up and corrected it?
  18. Picture tubes--https://learn.corel.com/picture-tubes-in-paintshop-pro/ You can also google 'PSP picture tubes' Have fun!
  19. Gabrella, how did you get the rounded corners on the frames? I kinda like that! I 'think' when you got the window to 'select selecion borders' you used something other than Inside....that is my guess? Pets have always left an empty hole in my heart when they are gone ?
  20. Here in the United States, the Bald Eagle is our national bird. A hundred years ago, it was on the brink of extinction. But it has recovered. There are areas where the birds are known to nest. And I had heard they could be seen on our local creek, but never saw one. One day in July last year, I drove out toward the creek to run an errand. I saw a large bird on the edge of the road. I slowed and expected it to fly away. But it didn't. As I drove past, I realized it was a Bald Eagle! I had to turn around, and get my camera out of my purse! It was very concentrated on eating lunch, which was roadkill in the weeds. I have not been feeling well the past 3 days. I realize now I didn't do anything with the title, and I may have missed another step or 2, but I just don't feel up to it now. Since I had it halfway done, I felt I needed to finish it. I hope to work on Project 5 tomorrow, praying for a better day.
  21. Make sure your photo is on a different layer. And you have that layer selected. Make sure the 'mode' is set to 'replace', and the 'match mode' is set to 'opacity'. Tolerance set to 0. "Use All Layers" has to be unchecked too, as Rene Marker said!
  22. Project 3 I used the Janet Kemp Woodland Winter kit again, I think it goes nicely with the critters. I don't like the glitter paper much. I tried to adjust the blend mode, but I was not any happier with it, so I left it alone. Question on the text, you clicked on the checkerboard for no outline. Is that the same as making the width of the stroke 0? Do they do the same thing?
  23. Project 2 We had a couple of buck visit our yard Christmas early evening. It had been a frigid day and they were hungry! I had my camera handy. The font is Remington Typewriter, and I used the chisel effect on the headline. I used the Janet Kemp Woodland Winter kit, from DigitalScrapbook.com
  24. Project 1. I used the Frosty Fall kit. The drop shadow on the script text looked odd, so I didn't add it.
  25. I rarely use a tablecloth. And watching the carbs, so only one slice of bread ? I need to get some of Ann's tomatoes, they must be fresh from the garden! It is too cold here for growing tomatoes now. Wood paper is from Marisa Lerin at digitalscrapbook.com
