  1. Project 4...more daffs...the top one volunteered in my yard; the other 2 volunteered in the woods. I hope to dig them and transplant them.
  2. August 21, 2017...the eclipse was longest in SC. People flocked to the state. I live in VA but SC is home. I decided not to go down because of the crowds. These are friends of mine who live in SC...on their back deck...its great when you live at an event and don't have to travel.
  3. We have on nearby. We went once but it wasn't a great experience. We made the mistake of going on a school holiday. We didn't realize that until we got there. I would like to go back when there won't be so many kids. The cats were keeping their distance with so much activity.
  4. Oscar Mayer Wienermobile came to Manassas!
  5. I created this page for my Alphabet Book.
  6. I play like that with my odometer also. Fun!
  7. As I read what you ladies have written I thought, "I could have written that!" Cowboys and Indians...yes! I also played with marbles and yo-yos.
  8. Jackie (on the left) and I have been friends for over 20 years but this was our first time together since well before Covid. I was a real blessing to see her again and catch up! The rose on the table in the center photo is repeated on each of the photos. Actually, this is one photo. I separated each of us into our own photo.
  9. Must be a hummingbird. Their nests are about the size of a walnut.
  10. I'm guessing...about 30 t0 40 feet away. I was using a 200MM lens. I came upon deer again today and they were much more cautious. I was wearing a red jacket. Yesterday I was wearing a medium blue shirt.
  11. L = Lady Baltimore Cake My Mom baked Lady Baltimore cakes. My uncle always requested it for his birthday.
  12. Day 5, Project 2. While I was walking in the woods looking for daffodils I met this lovely lady. She was in a group of 6 or 7. Although she is on alert, she did not appear to be too concerned.
