  1. Wow, where has this thread been hiding? I checked and I'm subscribed but none of these posts made it through on email for me. Susan, those examples are outstanding! We did have the class on blending, but I could use more. Perhaps a week, like the Love Story class, with increasingly complex tasks?

  2. Here's my entry for the December Random Challenge using the Corel freebie template – My Favorite Gifts. The font was part of the layout, so I don’t know the name. I’m including Carole’s color wheel. The family photo is from the year 2000 showcasing us and our nine grands. I added several overlays to its plain background.

  3. There's a story behind this page. My granddaughter and her husband with little Logan were waiting online to see Santa for over an hour. Logan, understandably, got restless and by the time they reached Santa, Logan wasn't having any of it!

    Layout info:

    Template - Lab 11 - 09

    Background pattern created from stone wall covering in left photo

    Candy Cane and Rusted alphas

    Font= Heavy Boxing Script

    Boxing Gloves from PNGFREE

    Bear and Cluster from Christmas stash

    Green paper from Digitalscrapbooking.com

  4. I have a robot vacuum cleaner, the Roomba. Unfortunately, I can never convince either of my cats to ride on it! It is my "back saver" as I cannot push around the kind with a handle. I also have the Alexa virtual assistant all through my house which mystifies my cats as I talk to it and it answers me. ;-)

  5. Sue, those are spectacular! My daughter has been using the moon in her art lately so I'm well "mooned." ;-) I see the individual shots, which you said were new, are labeled with the year 2023. The images must really take a long time to travel to Earth! :-D j/k

  6. Bonnie: That's a great layout! I didn't know that Xenas was a general term for strong women. I'm familiar with a minor superhero type named Xena Warrior Princess who had a tv show until 2001. Of course, she was shaped like a Playboy Bunny for the masses. It was many years ago and women were not as appreciated then as they are coming to be now. I have always been a strong advocate and dragged my daughters to Women's Rights marches in the 60s.

  7. I had 4 photos that my daughter in California took at Thanksgiving, so I "borrowed" Corel's freebie (with a lot of edits!)

    Here are the details copied from the Image Information:

    MY FAVORITE GIFTS COLLAGE - COREL FREEBIE

    FONT: VALENTINA - EARTH 4 GRADIENT - INNER BEVEL

    BACKGROUND: ENLARGED PHOTO - GAUSSIAN BLUR
