Susan: Nice! It's great to finally know what you actually look like -- since you've never put anything up for your profile pic. ;-)

Here's my entry for the December Random Challenge using the Corel freebie template – My Favorite Gifts. The font was part of the layout, so I don’t know the name. I’m including Carole’s color wheel. The family photo is from the year 2000 showcasing us and our nine grands. I added several overlays to its plain background.

I came up with this for the Complementary Palette Challenge using the Corel freebie template - My Favorite Gifts. The font was part of the layout, so I don't know the name. I'm including Carole's color wheel. The family photo is from the year 2000 showcasing us and our nine grands.

I wanted to thank Trish for these wonderful glitter balls. Here's my design idea.

Trish: I got it after being approved to join that group. I never heard of Maniacs before, and I see Carole is an admin. It looks like fun! Thank you!

Anne, where did you get Trish's ornament? I looked in the Files on Facebook but didn't see it.

There's a story behind this page. My granddaughter and her husband with little Logan were waiting online to see Santa for over an hour. Logan, understandably, got restless and by the time they reached Santa, Logan wasn't having any of it!

Susan: I can't see your invisible "kitty!" Did you post something about her?
Never mind, I just got to the Campus Update and now I see what you were talking about. Sorry...

I have a robot vacuum cleaner, the Roomba. Unfortunately, I can never convince either of my cats to ride on it! It is my "back saver" as I cannot push around the kind with a handle. I also have the Alexa virtual assistant all through my house which mystifies my cats as I talk to it and it answers me. ;-)

Brian, did you upload an image? If so, I can't see it. I like to follow your work.

Oh, the toilet paper debacle hit hard down here! My little girl, Eve, is pictured guarding our horde!

Sue, those are spectacular! My daughter has been using the moon in her art lately so I'm well "mooned." ;-) I see the individual shots, which you said were new, are labeled with the year 2023. The images must really take a long time to travel to Earth! :-D j/k

My subscription to the New York Times allows me to share 10 free articles a month. Here's the one announcing Pantone's Color of the Year.
Actually, I like this shade as as someone comments in the article, this is the M in CMYK. If you're at all involved in print, it is a vital designation.

Bonnie: That's a great layout! I didn't know that Xenas was a general term for strong women. I'm familiar with a minor superhero type named Xena Warrior Princess who had a tv show until 2001. Of course, she was shaped like a Playboy Bunny for the masses. It was many years ago and women were not as appreciated then as they are coming to be now. I have always been a strong advocate and dragged my daughters to Women's Rights marches in the 60s.

Marie-Claire: I'm admiring that folded paper tree; quite clever! I'll have to hunt down that Lab 12-Mod 12 and try it! Of course, your paper is perfect for it; I'll have to see what I have to suit.

Sue: The scallops work well with your winter/snow theme.

I had 4 photos that my daughter in California took at Thanksgiving, so I "borrowed" Corel's freebie (with a lot of edits!)
Here are the details copied from the Image Information:
