  1. My 2nd and 3rd game: For the ribbons, I created a script that, from the 1st image (30x30), creates 11 other images by rotating them by 30 degrees (from 30 @ 330). This makes it easier for me to make others.
  2. My first bingo ever. I hope I followed all the rules (I chose the 3rd column).
  3. I'll be there either alternating between PSP and Affinity or both, to be continued...
  4. @Linda Rexford @Susan Ewart @Jeni Simpson I don't know "Nik Collection", "Topaz", "FilterForge", "AlienSkin". What are they for?
  5. For my part, after my 90-day trial, I signed up for the "beta" version and got an additional 90 days with the key for the 1st 90 days: "https://affinity.serif.com/fr/affinity-beta-program/"
  6. Lesson 5: "Oh la la! Let it spin" "Baby of the year 2025"
  7. @CasselIndeed, the "Pen" and "Node" tools are easier to use. I also like the "Object Selection" tool which makes selecting objects much easier.
  8. A little experiment...
  9. I find it much easier with Affinity than PSP
  10. @Cassel Clarification: I did not "draw" the dragons. They come from the "these little dinosaurs" page of your lesson 4 for PSP. I only cut each one out, saved them as PNGs, created an ".afphoto" document containing the PNGs and included them as "Assets"
  11. My Affinity day 1 & 2
  12. A pot of lessons from Cassel: My 3rd grandson (already 5 months old):
  13. Lesson 5: Photo taken during a trip to China a few years ago
  14. I also discovered, by pure chance, that if I go with the outlines of the "holes" (sections to be removed) in the opposite direction of the main object, I no longer need to create them in a separate vector layer and move them into the main object's vector layer. I can do it directly in the main object's vector layer.
  15. A test I did. The arrows indicate the direction of the path creation:
  16. @Cassel I just figured out something about the hole exercise (lesson 4). If I trace a hole in the same direction as the main object (e.g. both clockwise), I have to do the "R" (from the acronym C-R-A-C) but if I create a hole in the opposite direction, I don't have to do the "R" (Main clockwise, hole counterclockwise). Is that right? Why do I have to rotate in the opposite direction for this to work?
