  1. Annie, Michele, lovely layouts...Annie, I didn't know this Viewmaster Wheel tutorial (there are so many!) and this is a great idea to showcase many small photos. Michele, the photo matches so well the QP and your Pop Sugar title looks very yummy too.
  2. Hi Annie, your layout is great and I love the way you spread the title over the whole page. It really calls attention. Which tutorial exactly did you use? I like very much the wisdom and this is so true, we have the power to decide which one we are going to feed. Great layout!
  3. Annie, thank you so much for your lovely comment on my layout. I really appreciate! Hugs :)

Marie-Claire, I also loved your layouts with Enzo... he was really a beautiful dog and I am sure both of you shared good moments together.

I still have two layouts to finish, but I have to say that participating in the challenge was/is fun, and seeing all the amazing layouts that everyone shared here is very inspiring.

  4. I managed to finish my Day 4. Paper and elements are from DiHiller 2017 Summer Lovin freebie.

From Cassel I used the Lifted photo script, that I like very much, and Twisted Rope Picture Tube for the title.

  5. Amazing new layouts posted here. Great work everyone.

This is my Day 2. For the background, I used Kerstin Aagard Great "Great Outdoors" pattern 2 paper.

From Cassel, I used Paper Cutout Leaves freebie (Paper Cutout Script); Sequin Weather freebie (Custom Sequin Script) and Paper Butterflies freebie (Paper Butterfly Script).

  6. Dawn, she took the parents by surprise... She was ready to go to bed after a bath, the parents turned their attention away from her for one minute, and she went back into the water in her PJs. :) What did the mother do? Took these photos of course! :D
  7. Only today I remembered that I had something for this challenge. I fact this was the second layout I've ever made and it was in 2016 after I had joined the Scrapbook Campus and watched the "Start Here" free videos. I liked so much that afterward, I purchased the "Basic Course". Since then I have learned a lot and will learn a lot more in the years to come. ;)
  8. Hi Sheila, we love to go there too, especially when it is cold here. You are not the only one! :) There are many British living in Algarve, and they have their own radio station, pubs and newspaper. These you find for free in the supermarkts at the entrance.
  9. So many great layouts posted here. That's the beauty of these challenges, Cassel gives one template or idea and each one makes amazing pages completely different from each other.

I am very late as usual, and today I am posting Day 1. I used techniques from the LAB 8/01 - Plaid4 - (background paper) and from the LAB 8/02 - Shaped Text (title) and Word Frame (photos).

I also used cass-Burnt Edge Paper, doodle (Sheila Reid) stitches (Holly Wolf Scraps) and corkboard texture (Fuzzimo)... all freebies.

  10. Rae, thank you so much for your comments! I really appreciate. :) I love all of your layouts... They are very different from each other but all lovely! You are very creative choosing and arranging the embellishments... For me, this doesn't come easily unless I am using a template ;)

Marlene, thank you. :) I also like very much your layout and the color you chose for the gingham. Everything matches so well together. You all must have had a good time with the exception of you breaking your ankle... No fun there :(

  11. Dawn, thank you so much! You are always so kind. :) <3

This place is really special for us... It is nice and quiet and usually we don't see many people. In spring and summer, there are more activities in the water: cargo ships and cruise boats... On weekend and holidays also kayaks and jet skis...

  12. Here is my contribution to this challenge.

As a base, I used "Photo Mat Full" template from Scrapping with Liz. The background paper is a freebie from Eyeinspire - "koolkrafties1". I also used "Subtle Botanica" patterns freebie from Creative Market.

From Cassel I used the "Picnic Alpha" freebie for the title and the Picnic Pattern for the scallop. The flowers were made with the "Layered Flowers Script". I made the buttons (Cassel's tutorial) and the Wood burning text effect (LAB 8-01).

Like I said it before, I would not have all these scrapbook pages if were not for Cassel's challenges. :)

  13. Hi everyone. I am registered for this challenge...I love Cassel's challenge, new ideas, templates, tips... perfect... Looking forward to it!

I don't know what I am going to do... I always decide it last minute.

  14. Marlene's page reminded me of a Corel's X5 tutorial for Halloween from 2012... It is called the Haunted House Collage and here is the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q-d5j1JtabY

So I decided to watch it again and try with this photo. All the techniques I used were taken from the tutorial. Only for the tombstone, I used the Platinum Effect (Time Machine)

Techniques: Time Machine Effect - Use of Picture Tubes - Change the Brightness and Saturation of an image - Adjustment of the transparency - Airbrush (myst).

All additional photos are from the internet

  15. Dawn, this is really a very nice layout! The photo is stunning and I like this way of showing a single photo divided into several parts... I have to try this one day... I also like the background paper and the way you included the map of Australia to complete the sentence. Great work!

What I like in the Forum is how we learn and inspire each other. We see one's layout and think "what a nice way of using/doing this or that...." I loved how you mixed the Beads Tube with the Corner Punches Brush in the Crimson Rose Card... Next time I use the Brush I will think of it ;)
