  1. I found a photo ... Yay!  This is a photo which I took of my Kia Soul in January 2010.  I had purchased the car brand new in September 2009 and took her for a road trip to Hughenden in 2010 ... a distance of 1260 kilometers so it was a round trek of 2520 kilometers!  It was a trip down memory lane as I had lived there for a couple of years on a sheep station in the early eighties.  Hughenden is in outback Queensland and is just shy of being a desert.  Well ... it was the monsoon season and Hughenden experienced a mini flood ... unheard of!  Except, the same thing had happened when I lived there in 1981 ... go figure, lol!  I used a scrap kit by Marisa Lerin titled "Discover".  The sticker of the little blue car that is piled with luggage was created from a tube that I have had for an age.  Thanks for takin a peek!
  2. Hello Scrapbook Campus.  Definitely no photos used in this one and for that reason I decided to post it here instead of in the theme forum.  I have used tubes that I have had for sometime and most of them are by Insanytee.  The title I created after following a tutorial from Lab 9 - Module 11 ... love this module!  The background paper I created myself after seeing one (almost identical) on the web.  I do possess the happy knack of being able to "copy" just about anything especially by utilizing the wonderful tools of PSP, ;)  The eyelashes sticker is my own.  Thanks for takin a peek!
  3. Thanks Michele. Cassel has covered the "tube" issue beautifully. With digital scrapbooking most of the elements in a scrap kit are what I would refer to as tubes because they are an image without a background. There are a few artists who specialize in tubes (extractions) such as Betsie, Guismo, Gerry, Graph-Sabine, Insanytee, Jen Vrouw, JHanna, Kikirou and, Mou ... just to name a few, lol! I have a certificate in extraction, doing it the old fashioned way, which I still consider to be more polished than the techniques offered by Paint Shop Pro and Photoshop etcetera. Rather a time consuming task though ... much quicker to use the software options which are being improved all the time! <3
  4. Well Scrapbook Campus, this is the last one for October and for Halloween.  I decided to give the Pocket Scrapbooking a digital workout as suggested in Cassel's Campus Update.  It was fun and I really like the idea.  I used some of my favourite Halloween tubes for this one instead of photos.  All background papers were created by myself.  Thanks for takin a peek!
  5. Bonnie, Michele and Lynda, thank you very much my friends for your compliments, much appreciated.

Trish, as usual your cake page is a delight and stirs up the sweet tooth in me, lol!

Larry, your Happy Halloween page is wonderful but ... I don't think I would like to visit there, especially at night! ;D

  6. Thanks for your compliment Sharon, always appreciated my friend. I love your recipe page and the cake intrigues me. It sounds like something from out of the CWA cookbook which is a trusted recipe source here in Australia. I am going to give it a go because it reads like it would be deliciously moist. Thank you Hon. <3
  7. Hello Scrapbook Campus.  I had a lot of fun with this one.  No photos used but I have had these tubes for a long time and decided to use them and practice some psp techniques ... easy ones, of course!  The spooky village and flying bats is an old tube as was the tree branch and the sleeping bat girl.  The huge moon I created with concentric circles, merged and then blurred.  I did add an illumination effect to the left centre of the moon but the rays are barely visible.  I used a dusk sky hue for the background with a star overlay.  Cassel's neon cat and ghost were very handy and I followed her ghost text tutorial for the title effect.  Thanks for takin a peek!
  8. I decided to put the garland samplers and confetti to good use, thanks Cass.  The photo is another by Bee Felten-Leidel from Unsplash and it is of one of her 3 Maine Coon cats.  The title wordart, seated skeleton, spider web, cute spiders, and gravestone I have had for a long time.  Thanks for takin a peek!
  9. LOL! Michele, judging by the look on this pumpkin's face it would be all spooky tricks and definitely no treats! As for trick or treating here is Australia maybe only in some suburbs of the major cities but as far as I am aware it has never really taken off. I have never had children knock on my door asking for a trick or a treat. A shame really as I do think it is a lot of fun.
  10. I think by now you have guessed that I love Halloween ... such fun ... even though it is not fully embraced here in Australia ... but, it is gaining in popularity!  This photo is from Unsplash and was taken by Nicole Edelbrock.  Layout is my own style, elements used are from Elif Sahin's kit "Cast a Spell".  The papers were again created by myself using templates from Pixel Scrapper.  Thanks for takin a peek!
