hello everyone!... finally got to do lesson 3 after having to get new computer. Beige painterly stroked paper free from Rita at the Coffe Shop Blog, recoloured the original. Plaid pattern paper free from Chantahlia Design. Heart shape created in PSP from a shape preset and glow, 3D and shadow effect done in Affinity Photo. Font is the same as Carole used in the lesson. Now on to lesson 4.. i will get to finish eventually. best wishes to all, Dawn.

Everyone has created such lovely template pages. Iam very behind, had a few bad days with health and to top it all off i had to get a new computer and transfer all my stuff. However hope to finish this workshop, but it may take some time. best wishes to everyone, Dawn.

still using Affinity 2.6.2 and finding it a joy to use. This is lesson 2, i am a bit behind though due to some more life issues but i will get to finish. The photos are from pixabay and created a colour swatch from it in affinity photo and used those colours on my project. Beige coloured paper created from a pattern, teal blue paper free from Chantahlia Design, foliage design is an abr brush imported into affinity. again i give thanks to Carole for the templates and the video as they are well explained. i have been looking at everyone's projects for this workshop and you all have created lovely work. best wishes to everyone, Dawn

I have used Cass edges 2 font, Sweetpea floral digital stamp from Beccys place here in Australia, Flora Free abr brush set, splatters were done with VM Filter Dribble also a watercolor brush to put behind the image. The April month birthday flower is Sweet pea and also diamond is the gemstone so i did this card for anyone who has a birthday in April. best wishes to everyone, Dawn.

Hello Sue, your Northern Shrike Bird is beautiful did you take the photo? interesting info about the bird also, quite often the names given to these birds do not match the beauty of them especially when they sing so beautifully. Hello Ann Seeber , likewise, interesting info you found out about the Pied Butcherbird... i never knew that about them. However they bring such joy here when they are in our yard . Best wishes to you both Dawn.

Corrie thanks so much for your kind words..... Susan Ewart.. thank you also for the comments you posted about my card. years ago i did traditional painting but had to give it away for health reasons.... but i have had the urge to try my hand at digital art and it is a new learning experience.. hopefully will be able to do more florals and a few scenes. Thank you to all who have left hearts for my card i appreciate it very much best wishes Dawn.

i have been having a go at Digital Art painting in a free software called Krita and the Daisy/gerbra kind of flower is my first attempt. i am hoping i will improve enough to do some more artwork this way for my card making. .. wasn't sure whether i should post this one, however my hubby thought it was good enough and encouraged me to post. the frame is another parchment one purchased years ago and have bevelled it and used luminance legacy mode on the layer. sprigs and leaves are from a brush set used in previous cards. blue flowers are from another purchased kit i also got a few years ago .... Best wishes to everyone... Dawn.
