Hi everybody,

I'm looking for a tutorial I saw, on how to make a background paper by selecting a stroke in a photo and working with it, I just can't remember where I saw this ? Was it here in the Campus ?

I am not sure what you mean by a "stroke of a photo"? Do you mean a thin rectangle? If so, it could be one inside the Campus to make plaid.

yes I mean you select a long fine rectangular selection and with that selection you make a background but I just remember I thought it was a nice background and I loved it because you had the colors of the photo that way too, but it wasn't a plaid.

I know I can't give a lot of details, and it's kinda vague that way

Yes! that's it, thank you. I didn't have in mind to make a plaid with it, so I didn't go and watch that tutorial.

I had gotten to the point of enlarging the canvas, but then I was stuck. I didn't know what else to do. So it was: Effects, Rotating Mirror, that I needed to move on.

Thank you!

So much to remember!

one should find a way to write down when you see something you would still like to use or try, along with where to find it.

But just writing everything down one after the other isn't an easy way when you're looking for something

Marie-Claire I wonder if you are thinking of a script,  Carole has a script where you draw a line across a section of you picture and it turns it into a gradient which places it in your gradients that you can choose to keep or trash. I have that and it comes in handy  you just have to draw the line where you line the colours most sometimes |I just draw a small line and the effect it produces is great x Hope this helps
