Cassel Posted July 13, 2019 Posted July 13, 2019 https://scrapbookcampus.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/07/ScavengerHunt-Challenge.jpg I am offering you a scavenger hunt where you have to find some elements and combine them to create a layout or a project. Are you up to the challenge? Although you don't have to create those elements, you also have that option, so either you use what you have downloaded or you can still make them from scratch. Your end result must include ALL of those elements ;). I added some links to tutorials (only accessible to our DIAMOND members) one sand texture (here) some wood or wood elements (you can use the free log digits for this month's theme) one frame 2 paperclips (here or here) a single horizontal picture a lifted element (remember that it is created by tweaking the shadow too) Gingham pattern (here) You can choose any theme you want, so what will you create with those elements?
Annie Tobin Posted July 16, 2019 Posted July 16, 2019 Hello Scrapbook Campers. Well, I hope this meets the challenge, :D I followed the tutorials Cassel suggested and the additional elements came from a scrapkit by MLDesign - The Beach at Sunset. Thanks for takin a peek. P.S. The photo is by Ivan Franco from Unsplash.
Sharon Wilke Posted July 17, 2019 Posted July 17, 2019 Yeah Superfan Annie!! I love your Scavenger Hunt creation. That looks like such a beautiful place to visit. I managed to cobble together an ecclectic sort of image. I think I got all the items stuck in it somewhere.
Annie Tobin Posted July 17, 2019 Posted July 17, 2019 Thanks Sharon, much appreciated my friend. I really like your color scheme and what a beautiful photo ... did you take the shot? <3
libera Posted July 17, 2019 Posted July 17, 2019 Another WoW Annie and Sharon!! Annie, you used Caroles log digits too for the date. All in all I would like to travel and rest a while. Which effect is the pic with the "camping" chair? "Celebrate" makes me think of an old pop song (Cool and the Gang) and I would like to dance across your green field :-). I like the "silhouette" in the frame too and how you placed the envelops, Sharon.
trish williams Posted July 17, 2019 Posted July 17, 2019 Pretty Zig Zag ribbons, I turned them into bows
Annie Tobin Posted July 17, 2019 Posted July 17, 2019 Thank you dear Libera, your comments are much appreciated my friend. The deck chair is on a paper out of the scrapkit from DigitalCREA by MLDesign – The Beach at Sunset. The scrapkit I have had for a long time, I think it was a ptu. The actual name is mldesign_laspiaggiaaltramonto. Over the years I have purchased a truck load of digital scrapkits and now I am discovering that a lot of the designers have simply droped off the radar. Such a shame as I am sure that many people would still be interested in using their designs for scrapbook pages. It would be nice if there was a bank in the Cloud for such as this, :) <3
Annie Tobin Posted July 17, 2019 Posted July 17, 2019 Wow Trish, beautiful colors my friend, well done! <3
Annie Tobin Posted July 18, 2019 Posted July 18, 2019 I decided to have another play for this scavenger hunt. The photo is from Pexels. The elements are from Pixel Scrappers except for the ones I created from Cassel's tutorials. Thanks for takin a peek.
trish williams Posted July 19, 2019 Posted July 19, 2019 fell in love with this picture , just had to do something with it. so made it a frame and used it for another scavenger hunt picture, and framed that to finish

Annie Tobin Posted July 20, 2019 Posted July 20, 2019 Hi Trish. Beautiful frame on this delightful picture my friend, well done. Thank you for your comment on my page, and the font used was Kristen ITC, it is a freebie and easily accessible on the web. :D
