Sharon Wilke
Sometime over the past few weeks, I watched a tutorial that taught about the fade correction. I made a mental note to get around to trying it out on some photos I had from the late 1960's to early 1970's. Carole explained about the discolorations from this era in photographic history. With just 1 click it totally transformed them! I had almost given up on ever having these photos for my family album. Thank you for pointing it out! Cassel
Happy that this tutorial helped. We would be curious to see some before and after photos. Would you share some?
Sharon Wilke
I have 3 that are quite noticeable. Two are color photos and the other is a somewhat sepia toned B&W photo. I still have work to do on them. The fade correction is the only adjustment I have made at this point. I'm really happy with the results thus far. Cassel
Wow, those are impressive! Interesting how the second photo got "new" colors using that command. I initially thought you had added colorization. A lesson to anyone working with old photos: try that Fade Correction!
