Painted Wood

This website decoration features Painted Wood.  The letters spelling Africa were treated separately and each had a different wood with a different colour.  I had to play with the fonts a little but in the end very please as the image gives the impression of natural, somewhat worn but colourful.

 

Other elements of the image had textures from Filter Forge applied.  The Cass script Granite was used on the rock bottom left which has the date of Africa day.  The immigration arrows were finished with Cass' Copper It.

I love those letters! They can be so versatile and used in so many types of projects!
