Marie-Claire Posted April 2, 2022 Posted April 2, 2022 I watched the video about the flair button. I would like to start a flair button from scratch, so no selection from a photo. What I wonder. what resolution are you doing that at? for exemple, New, 500 x 500 pix, resolution ? also 300? When I look at the info at downloaded buttons I see resolution 118.110
Cassel Posted April 2, 2022 Posted April 2, 2022 The resolution does not really have much meaning since it will be a matter of how the user will print. If it is only for yourself, just go with the size. The resolution of 300 is usually in ppi (using Inches as unit) while the 118 is based on cm units. It is the same thing. So if you are using a fairly recent version of PSP, the default resolution is 300ppi (or 118 ppcm) so a 500 pixels flair will be between 1.5 and 2 inches in diameter.
Marie-Claire Posted April 2, 2022 Author Posted April 2, 2022 Thanks Carole, and I just find this, https://scrapbookcampus.com/2014/05/what-is-your-image-resolution/ in the Blog. Very well explained, but I'll have to read it again and again to understand properly, because I'm bad at maths
