I forgot to add that I used Filter Forge for the tail feathers and the chest area. I also used a FF cartoon effect to make the tail feathers less realistic. I had so much fun that I have others from this CF download called littlest pet shop.

Creative Fabrica has a font called 212 US Dings that includes each state and a US map.

Corrie, it was so much fun playing with it. I should have used a smaller font on my husband's picture.

Finally got to lesson 6.

I spent yesterday revising my wedding card. Most of the graphics are from CF except the silhoutte which is from Canva. The side font is ruritania. The other fonts are FarewellAngelina and FancyPants(I don't remember where I got them) and starinline(purchased from Deeezy.com). The other font is DDRadford from CF. I made the letters M and J, but stupidly forgot to save the vector so I don't remember what it is, but it's from CF. I also made the gold frame on the inside. The wedding is today so I just managed to get it ready after an extremely hectic week.

The card is an 8 1/2 by 11 printed borderless on card stock.

I'm still behind since we have been entertaining a very good friend this past week. Here is my vector tube.

I also experimented with vector paint and really liked the results.

The first image is from CF and the font is Chrishmkbold from my Hallmark Card program. The background is a gradient. The second picture was just sent to me by my grandson from Thailand where he is visiting and playing rugby. The font is from CF and called Asian Pacific.

I'm not doing a whole lot with the lessons because we have a very, very welcome visitor whom we are entertaining.

The pattern on the cup is my own, the drips and chocolate are from FF and the whipped cream is from the cass frosting script with the warp tool applied. Candy cane is from Canva.

I redid my leaves using the pen tool and the nodes. I filled the first one with the photo of one of my leaves. I made wonky veins with the pen tool, added a gradient and filled with the fine leather texture. The stems were isolated--one filled with a gradient green and one filled with a brown gradient. 

This time was easier than the last time.

Nothing fancy. I just added some vectortubes. This lesson was very helpful because I had forgotten about the cusp node.

I started to make an arrow, but then began to play with the nodes and ended up with a pencil. I converted the pencil to a raster and filled it in with different textures. The heart was harder than I remembered, but I finally got it to look like a heart using a lot of guide lines. I used a lined stroke, duplicated the stroke and made it smaller to fit inside the bigger heart.

I have been working on a card for my niece's bridal shower this month.My backgrounds are from CF. and the side panel is from the cass offsetcutout. The main font is Valentines, but the first letter is Flowerina both from CF. The hearts are from a Script Bundle downloaded from CF. The heart part of the frame is from CF, and I made the outer frame.

Today was the last tutorial of the Workshop. Tomorrow will be my last day of adding comments to each poster, but the thread will stay open so even if you are still taking a few days to finish, you will still be able to post.

Actually, I did use Text on a path, but my path was wonky. I remade it using a path that more closely followed the line on the banner.

Day 5 - I'm running behind this week. All the images are from Creative Fabrica except for the umbrellas which I made a long time ago and which I made into watercolors using casswatercolor script. Font is called Better Spring Font from CF. The circle design was made from Day 2 stripes lesson. The umbrellas were actually made for a very good friend who had just had twin grandaughter and grandson.

Day 4 The image is an AI image from a paid Cyperlink program call "My Edit." I made a vector oval and cut the image to fit the oval. I made the background with preset hearts and cass sparkle script and a lot of blending. The font is Love Heart from CF. The bee is a dingbat font call Bee Cute, and the bow and arrows are from a Valentine dingbat font also from CF.

Card 3 The iris flowers are from my garden and the font is Magnolia Balmitha from a CF font bundle. The texture is from texture effects sculpture called designer effects 01 and lightened. The flower borders are glitters from my kit.

Day 2  This birthday card is for my daughter who loves flamingos so much that she had one tattooed on her shoulder. Those cute flamingos are from a CF bundle that I recently downloaded. The top ribbon has a blue background with a bokeh pattern that I made with Procreate. The scallops were made with cass quick scallop script. The font is Love Stars downloaded from CF. I duplicated the text, changed the color and moved the red copy to look like a layered font. The background is a parchment paper made in FF and lightened.

Day 1 -- All the items are from my Retro Christmas kit. The top background is one of my white grunge creations overlaid with a cass gradient. Since all the card that I make are 8.5 by 11, I changed the template to 5.5 by 11. When I print my cards, I print them borderless. The plaid was made with cass stripe2 script. The font is Sequents from Creative Fabrica. However, I had to make them in Photoshop since they don't work in Paintshop. I made them on a page and used cass AlphaSheetseparator script for the individual letters.

My flower beds were almost overtaken by bluebells this year, and for the first time in the 20 odd years we've lived here, I saw a bumblebee in the bluebells. I tried to follow her around and snap some pictures with my iPhone. The first font is KidZone from CF. I filled it with a pattern that I made with cass seamless pattern script and a hologram gradient. The second font was downloaded from here. The cartoon bees are from a bee dingbat font from CF. The scalloped ribbon is from a paper from my kit and scalloped with cass quick scallop script.

On to lesson 7. These are a few of the pictures of the trip my brother and I took to the Glass Bridge in Arizona. It was a great trip and this was the final destination of that trip. We were gone from home about 3 weeks and enjoyed many stops on the way (followed Route 66 from St. Louis, MO to Miami, Oklahoma) and left the old road and continued on I-40. I will post the picture of Eagle Point separate because you can't see what is on the sign in the QP. And, that is 4,000 feet above the Colorado River at the bottom of the Grand Canyon.

The title font is GranaPadano, the journal font is Arial.

Mary, my husband and I visited the glass bridge several years ago. The whole reservation was amazing. Walking the glass bridge was so frightening especially because I am afraid of heights. But, at least I did it, my husband chickened out.

Day 7   I spent a lot of my time deciding which pictures I should use and revising the template to match my colors. I think that is why I don't like quickpages unless they are layered. The photo are my  own taken while visiting Las Vegas and the Valley of Fire. Las Vegas has the Ethel M candy factory which has a beautiful cactus garden, not to mentions the best chocolates. Ethel M is the upscale brand of chocolates from the Mars family, Ethel being the mother. The font is a colored font from Creative Fabrica and does not work in Paintshop. They had a bonus file of pngs which I used for the title. The font does work in Photoshop, even my old one.
