  1. Good job! It looks great, and, believe me, as your get older, you will be as glad for the rails as the grandchildren! Lol! Yes, my husband and I were always DIYers. Most often because it was cheaper, but also because of the personal satisfaction.
  2. I started cooking out of necessity at a fairly young age. I am now pretty old and have a gazillion kitchen gadgets, but maybe my favorite and most used these days is my instant-read thermometer! After years of leaving food to cook 'just a little longer to be safe', I can now know when it's done to perfection! It would be my first kitchen accessory recommendation for any new cook!
  3. What a wonderful, heartwarming story! Thanks for sharing!
  4. I absolutely love the enthusiasm to get just the right photo! Can't wait to see the first of many photo pages!!! Enjoy!!
  5. Yes, we do have a few 'little libraries' in our town. I haven't used any myself, but when our children were little, we had our own 'little library' in the house. It was a small angular hall closet with floor to ceiling bookshelves all around and a light overhead. Just enough room for a comfy foot stool! That's where we often found one of the kids, especially our son who loved to read. They also had books in their room, but this was our own 'little library'!
  6. Yes, I've always loved crafting. Knitting, crocheting, macrame, candle making, string art, cookie decorating, cake decorating, chocolate molds, and of course digital scrapbooking! I would really like to learn to paint this year. I tried it once before and would like to do more. So many things to do! I like to search our local Goodwill store for craft supplies!
  7. Cindy, you can also easily show the two pages on your screen side by side at the same time regardless of the size of your monitor. With your first page open, PSP for example, click on the multiple pages icon just to the left of the 'X' in the upper right corner. The page will reduce. Grab the sides and adjust as you like. Then open your second page, a Lab tutorial for example, and do the same. Position them side by side. You can use Control + the roller on your mouse to quickly zoom in or out on whichever page you're on.
  8. Our favorite group camping site in Northeast California.
