Somehow I ended up on the forum for last year's workshop. Interesting reading, for sure. Anyway, I took a few days off to deal with life, but I'm back. Text on a path inspired by a photo, and a (literal) postmark design.

Third time was the charm. The first time, I tried using Ctrl-V at the "paste" step, and my cut-out disappeared into the ether. Second time, the Cut-out didn't actually cut out. The line appeared on my object, but no "hole." Third time, all worked as planned. Hooray!

I'm back to refresh my learning om vectors in PSP. What I learned from earlier classes was enough to meet my needs then and it gave me the background I needed to begin exploring InkScape to create SVGs. Now I want to review and maybe even extend my knowledge of using vectors within PSP. Looking forward to the workshop.

I have a really hard time seeing both the nodes and the control 'arms'. I lowered my resolution and started with a solid background on my image, and that helped a little.

Looking forward to refreshing my knowledge of vectors in PSP. I'm also trying to learn InkScape, to create more complex vector graphics.
