@Susan Ewart Thank you! πxx.

@Cassel:Actually, yes this workshop with its fun trick shares and constant projects made me better at many of the standard moves needed to complete a layout. I understand I scratched the surface here and there a little bit and need to get into scripts to go to the next level.

Here is my week 12, fonts Bell on my poem, Swissn on date @Susan Ewart @Cassel: PSP's vector support is what got me into checking it out a bit closer. I understand πthe real fun starts with the scripts. I need to get into them.
-
Thank you, @Cassel. I'm sure it has to do with what you mentioned and good on ya to keep the 3 sites separated π
-
Many thanks @Susan Ewart!!! π This is it. I really love it. Such a smart script. Since I failed to see this before I made a bit of a basic template for that purpose, only in 3x4" tho so far.

Here is my last project, no 5. graphics from my Vinted kit, font is Selectric Advocate, WA brushes by Katie Pertiet. Many thanks for everything , @Cassel. Such a great workshop!

@Susan Ewart: Many thanks! π xx Just curious, is that the same script y'all are using on the photos? The frame and date set? I can never dl the blog freebies, I must be doing something wrong. I think I recall a similar frame date set script being advertised by Carole @Cassel at one not so distant point in the past....

@Cassel: I played around with it but it took a lot of attention away from the already super dark photos. I think it is a great technique: many thanks for showing it to us! I ended up not saving it as a jpg just as a layered file, so it never made imgur or this place but if you like I can show it here. As I said, wouldn't want to miss that entry π

@Ann Seeber: Thanks! I'm using grok mostly and sometimes firefly.

Over the hump: page four of my seven stocks project. On peanut butter. Any fans here? Supplies myself, fonts again Pacifico on title and Lato on body. By now I think I need an extra double page spread before the initial page one on canned tuna and move the first part of the text on page one to that preceding page...( questions...) project.

Hello everyone! Stunning images here, such a treat. I'm not sure if I'm playing this challenge correctly. Or should I rather just post a photo instead of a layout? Supplies myself (love the plaid trick @Cassel), font is Times New Roman.

@Cassel: Here is another one following the project 2 layout suggestions. I used to make a lot of layouts like this, wonder what got me off track... I think it is a great way to make a page. 12x6 inches, all graphics from my All You Need, font (on jc) is Chelopace

My project 3. I was aiming for a midcentury modern-ish vibe. Supplies myself, Jessica Dunn, Sharon Dewi Stolp. Fonts are Georgia on date and Cuciniere on title. @Cassel: Yes, especially in a PSP WS, lol!!!! ππ. I have been playing with them, not enough it seems tho. I find EC gives me what I want faster. The layouts so far are the most elegant recipes ever! An absolute fool proof way to a great layout. Many thanks. Many great examples here in this thread. Fab recipe!

@Cassel: THANK YOU. Yes, PSP has great functions in terms of shadows and sharpening. I love the way it works. Here is my eyecandy (over)shareπ. We go way back, EC and myself... It started with a multi-media ANZAC Day project in 8th grade I think. I was looking for a way to display layers in a realistic manner... WWI related Australian items. It turned out that PS only had 3 parameters to control shadows with, there wasn't any way to control blurring or density for example. I had been using shadow layers, to make up for that shortcoming of the layer styles in PS, for a while and then I ran into eye candy. So much fun. It became a sort of dessert to the entire process. After finishing the layout, I run eye candy for a bit of an extra treat. I use 3 and 4.

@Cassel: PSP has what right there? The shadows? There are more options for shadowing with eyecandy. Plus the shades are only one feature. I use it to sharpen the image before uploading and add other final touches like beef up metals if there are any.

And a second project 2 for day 5 @Cassel. Myriad on my NEW haiku. Graphics myself, Marisa Lerin, Sharon Dewi Stolp,

Here is page three of my '7 stocks' micro project- Four more to go. TFL! These pages I'm sharing here are the right pages of a spread , the left ones will either have typography, photos or a mix of both and maybe a list of dishes that those stocks are to be used in. Fonts are again Pacifico on title and Lato on body. Supplies myself.

Sending you some sunshine and healing vibes and wishing you all the best for your ongoing recovery! π

Thank you @Cassel. Should I redo the layout? Or is it ok?
-
So this is my Project 2. I tried to recall what you taught us in the mask ws @Cassel. Supplies myself. I used eyecandy for the shadows, as always. Fonts are Sugared Lemons on my NEW poem and Rustic Pantry on title, Quicksand on gardening text. I put a gradient overlay on the left page to make a book-ish look.
-
@Cassel: Thank you for this WS and the fab videos!!!! πYes, it is. Is it OK that way? My page is a spread tho. Would it rather have to be a square like 12x12 ?
