Christina. Thank you.  Originally the Tatting Lace 08 tube is dark grey. I used Brightness/Contrast settings at 255-0. For the mesh, I made a simple cross on an image of 50x50 pixels and saved it in patterns in PNG file.

I used one of Cassel's Picture Tubes trying to represent the polka dot jersey but I was fascinated by the accidental effect I created so left it at that; The background colours show through the transparent bubbles. Coolio!

Contrary to my habit for creating my papers, I used the script on a 12" 3600x3600 image so that the script could put more pattern then I resized to 1000x1000 so that the texture of the patterns is visible and again resized to 3600x3600.

You went through the point-by-point description that I’ve known for a long time as if it came from you. Thank you for quoting me.(that’s a bit of irony).

The start and end node must separate the image well to have a separate partition.

One of the two sides of the path must be selected with the magic wand.

Do not select the path.

You can also use the trace to make nice borders, see example.
