Lab 06-08

I just finished Lab 06-08.  Lot of fun things to do in there!  I made the x-stitch and tag and added it to the template provided.  I did make the ribbon and it was fun to learn, but I am really shaky and I could not get it to look smooth (I tried multiple times and even took a Xanax).  The font in this lab was cute, but did not match my layout.  The picture is of the little tree beside my apartment.  I took out the background to get rid of the water tower in the picture and put a gradient in the background.  I used the tutorial Carole sent to do that.

 

This was a great lab and I loved making the x-stitch and tag!

Very nice layout, element selection and arrangement, Deloris.  That's a cool ribbon too!  I haven't looked at that particular Lab yet -- I'll have to give it a try.  Thank you for the inspiration!

Deloris, you were right -- this was a fun lab!  I really enjoyed learning the cross stitch and tag and hope to use them both in a future project.  It was difficult to get a smooth striped ribbon using a mouse interface, but in the meantime here is mine.
