  1. Lovely results ladies. I enjoy viewing all the different styles.

Thank you Carole for the workshop. I learned something new each day.

Here is my result for Day 7 using the template provided and items from scrap kit called Coastal Summer by Jessica Dunn at DigitalScrapbook.

Font used for title is called Gill Sans Ultra Bold Condensed.

  2. Carole - thanks for helpful suggestion.

"Lois (#74289) it looks like your title is floating. It has a similar shadow as the flower while it should have something more similar to the photos/papers."

I wondered about that when I was finished but I saved the page without the title so I could amend that.

So is this better?  I think it is.  We learn something new every day.

  6. Carole - thanks for your encouragement for lesson 3.  In reply to your question "Lois (#73985) beautiful. Are you feeling a bit more comfortable with the steps yet?"  I am getting more comfortable but still need to work on things.  I am so used to doing things the hard way that I am having trouble with some of your shortcuts.  Getting there though.

  9. Thank you so much Carole for allowing me to participate in this workshop.  You certainly provided us with an opportunity to learn new techniques.  I certainly enjoyed viewing all of the excellent layouts created by all.

Re:  Lois, (#72469) what background did you use for that page? It matches perfectly with your image.

The background was made using a colour from the image and adding a texture (not sure where I got it from) to it with a soft blend.  I then added a page frame overlay that I obtained from Digital Scrapbook using a burn blend.
