Day 5, text Place Star photo of starling I took last year, had fun doing this one I have never used this technique with text before.

Day 4.

Day 3 wrap around text, think I might of missed out using the wrap around text,

My first atempt at a layout .did the backgrounds using different textures and effects added a photo a frame, tube, drop shadows,finished with the day 2 text/

This is a birthday card I made for my son some years ago I substituted the Happy Birthday gold peel offs with the text tutorial for day 1. The font I used was Workforce,

Hi Cassel I downloaded the plugin Bridge and I can now use more of my plugins, you were right to say only try 1 plugin in at a time. It did allow me to see if they worked or not and if they did was I really going to use it, once again many thanks for your help. I am getting to know my way around psp version 2023 I love some of the new things such as the gradient fill tool other tools will take a bit more practise. My workspace is set up just how I like it nice large icons and text, everthing is so easy for me to see.

Hi Cassel thanks for the link I managed to get the plugins to work in the 2023 version but it was just the Flaming pear flexify 2 that would work, at least it's a start.

I don't have the dll files that I would need to use any plugins and don't know where to get them. I have pspx5 ultimate but my plugins are greyed out in the drop down menu of effects I must have messed something up when I transfered everything over to my new laptop some time ago.

Hi , I have looked through the psp stuff but couldn't find the answer I needed. I have paint shop pro 2023 just started to use it today so learning my way around it I wanted to know where I can get DLLs from in order to try some plugins, hope you can help. Gwen.

Hi Suzy, thanks for your comments, I will try what you suggested and look at other things I might not of thought of using to create backgrounds with.

Hi Suzy I re-did my background using your suggestions, I really liked the effect that the cement photo added to the overall image.I did play around with textures etc but I liked it just the way it was. I added a photo frame around the edge of the background and used the buttonize effect, the tree came from a blogtrain but I can't remember which one. The Happy Birthday card in the shape of a birdhouse was one I made for my son a few years back, thanks again for passing on your knowledge. Is the size of the image okay?
