  1. Yes the voice is loud enough. But if you're a tight sleeper you'll surely be awake when it goes to full stress. That thing is so loud it nearly gave me a heart attack when I first heard it. Luckily it was a false alarm, my Wife fogot to turn on the extractor hood while cooking. No I don't talk back. It doesn't like that. 😉
  2. My alarms also notify before going to full stress. If there is smoke or water vapor they first say that there is 'smoke' in such and such room. You have some time to check it out and press the button in the middle of the alarm to shut it down. Of course you need to get rid of the 'smoke' after that or the situation will repeat itself.
  3. I have six smoke alarms, they are all Nest Protect alarms. You can give every Nest a meaningful descriptive name. They speak and communicate with each other through the wifi network. When one detects something, it transmits the info to the others. So, wherever you are in the house, the smoke alarms says what is happening and most important, where in the house. It says the descriptive name, so you never have to guess ans search where the alarm comes from. A bit pricy, but in my opinion well worth it.
  4. I used to have a ton of games in my younger years. About ten years ago, I tossed them all because I couldn't play them anymore on my computer because of incompatibility. Still regret doing that. I used to play Commander Keen. A nice 2D platformer shooter in 6 episodes with lots of levels. Also Ultima Underworld was one of my favorites. Its a 3D D&D game where you have to use your wits and talk to the creatures living in the dungeons. Ther are of course creatures that aren't friendly which you have to fight. I used to play lots of RPG games from Sierra and other devellopers too. Think before you act... These were mostly games for DOS and Windows up to Windows 98. So they don't run on a modern computer, but there are sollutions to that. Now I use game launchers like Launchbox and GOG Galaxy At that second website, one can find a lot of 'old' games. They are of course not free, but if you happen to still have an old game, you can use that in the game launchers to play your favorite games again.
  5. I have been using this Wacom tablet since about the late 80's. It still works on my Windows 11 PC. It has a mouse too which I also used beside the stylus. I found a separate mouse to be handier though. Have been thinking about buying a newer one for the newer options they have. My son has a recent one which is a lot more to offer for PSP and/or PS. He uses PS, I use PSP Ultimate.
