O is for ORGANIZE.  Something about organizing  assorted things that have accumulated over a period of time (and you really planned to do it that day!)  seem to relax and refresh a person. It could be in a closet, a drawer or even on your computer.

Still working but am really enjoying all of your lovely calendars.  Shows me how far I have to go learning all of this for sure.  I am trying to do dogs in the family. They are really part of "The Adams Family."

Yes, it is strange.  I have to save a lot because PSP keeps shutting down in the middle of my work.  That is the only reason I can think of, but the other 4 projects were all under 52 MB so not sure on the difference.  Here is an image of the listing in file explorer.

 

And is there a cache in PSP to clean out?

Well, letting the computer sleep on it (and me too, cause I was TOTALLY frustrated!) I came back and tried again, but neither computer would open the 1.18 GB file in PSP X9. ( It does not like Windows 10 at all and has always been  slow and hesitant about opening tools such as Materials or selections) So I started over totally and here is my new result.  I like both of them. Thank you to  Eyeinspire Fruitloops for the Scrapkit.

 

I would like to know if there is a way to clean a cache in PSP? Also if you think the size of the file is the problem and how did it possibly get so big?  This new one was only  34.4 MB and had all the same elements and papers.

I am having the same problem that Euka was having.  My PSP has locked up on Day 11 project and I can not get it finished on either computer.  It will not open it and I cannot even save the unfinished part to a .jpg 600.  I tried cleaning the cache in Windows, not sure how to do it in the PSP program if that is an option?  I rebooted several times and I tried the file on the laptop and rebooted it too, but no luck.  This is a screen shot of the file in Windows Explorer  as I was working on it.  It was showing file size of 1.18 GB so I am pretty sure that is the problem.

Working on my last lesson, but fixed the previous one.  My eye cannot see a lot of difference but here is undistorted element.  I had to select/copy  and paste ends on it to make it long enough without getting too big for the composition, but not distorted now..  Thanks!

I think you are right on the resizing.

 

 

No I have not done pinking before.  It is a new and exciting trick to me, and neat to know from another of your articles that it can be done with brush tool and picture tube tool too. What I have done another way is to add a frame around a photo by duplicating it and flooding the duplicate and enlarging it with the pick tool.  Not nearly as exact as your way.

 

I read the article on enlarging with the pick tool, but not sure from your critique note if my ribbon is wrong? It looks OK to my eye, but notice on your article that I cannot see a problem on a few of the examples like the Scrapbook logo square except one is rectangular and one square?  The kit I used  (and many of my collections over the years) has been reduced to 200 by a program I used on many of them to save space because I did not plan to do any scraping but loved the collections.  Thought I might use them for tags down the road. Do you think I might just as well trash all of them and start a new collection?

BOY!! That was a fun video.  I hope I don't lose it.  Problem is finding it again I think.  I really enjoyed the pinking shear cut and the frames around the pictures.  Much easier than the way I was doing it.

 

 

Ok, I used one of your glitters, so maybe   size does matter?

This is my fourth project (you did not mention my 3rd one Carole in your critiques, but I want to get credit in the drawing, so I am posting it again here along with Day 7)

 

Today's project was fun....I had forgotten about the grid line lineups.  I could not find a glitter in my patterns that would look like glitter  on my project and forgot that you offered a link for some more.  I will try them next.  I notice that I have a pattern folder and a glitter folder. Maybe my glitter is not for such big files as scraps are?   Do I need to combine the glitter and the pattern in my PSP files maybe?  Thanks for your great video and all your help.

 

I used a scrap file called Marisol Pretty  Things  by Janiscrap Designs 2007 and colorized it using Change to Target.

 

 

Had a good time casually doing this.  I was trying to get the feeling of the kids playing in the bubbles.  Used a scrap kit call AC SoPerky Pix  with her font.

FUN PROJECT!  I am learning to scuba dive and this helps me document it.  Biggest problem is choosing only or two pictures!  Great tutorial Carole!

I am between appointments, so I had a quick bite of ham sandwich with Fritos, my favorite chip. Also time to catch up on the news.   Coffee with cream and a lovely little bouquet to brighten up my table since I have to eat alone.  Great tutorial!

Hello Rita, Cindy and Ann S. Call me  Ann A.  Good to meet all of you and to get to work together. I will probably be needing your help.

 

I do not have any idea of what I will be creating, so I just chose a recent photo of one of my trips where I was learning to scuba dive.  Maybe I will get to use it somehow.

 

I set up my desktop with a light grey background and a ruler around the image.  Carole helped my with my Materials pallet last week so now I have the Classic Material Properties back and that makes me happy. (I changed it in another group of online classes I was taking and did not remember what I did that made it that way, so couldn't get it to work right.) I have used PSP X9 a lot and I like the Layers, Materials and Tool Option Pallets open.

 

Looking forward to our classes!

OK, this is my Challenge 5 (and yes, I am that far behind but determined to finish)  There is so much to learn here!  I enjoyed looking at everyone's  work and great creations!
