I did get that bundle and have been playing with it. Since I had used CF Spark to create pictures (AI), I wanted to try out the Vision FX. It works best in PSP 2023. In CF Spark, you can create a picture from scratch. I don't see how to do it in Vision FX. It works on a picture you provide - changing it up according to your description. I tried it out on a picture I took up at Caboose Lake in 2022 and used a copy (very important to use a copy of the picture you want worked on). This is the result (I used the description for changes that were there when I opened it up within PSP 2023.6 points

This week we have fog or low clouds, it is grey! Monday we had just a small glimpse of sun for a couple of minutes only, when I passed the stretch of grass in front of a building bloc. I have taken some mushroom photos there lately and just noticed some fly agaric (amanita muscaria). Btw is there another common name for this mushrooms? I have the new iPhone 16 which has gotten a great camera update which allows you to select the f value and exposure time by hand. I'm experimenting with it and here it worked great; foreground and background are blurred. When the weather improves..... I want to do more experimenting, however the grass has been cut and all mushrooms are gone for now.3 points

Oh Corrie, I didn't want anyone to feel sad b/c of it. I felt uplifted once I did it. You are welcome to use any part of the scraplift to do another scraplift!3 points

Thank you, Corrie. I wish I could share some that ice cream with you. It is really good ice cream!3 points

Neither do we in the UK. I will have to wait for the temps to really drop, before taking frost and snowflake shots.2 points

Week forty five. Well it's that time of year again, winter is moving in. We are already getting frosty nights, giving way to bright sunny relevantly warm days. Shooting hoar frost at this time of year doesn't give the best results, so this photo was taken last January when the temps plummet to 30 below and colder.2 points

Julie, this happens to me a lot; I post something here and see the mistakes I haven't seen while working for hours/days with the layout. 🙂 I just love fall colors, and the photo is beautiful. It's a perfect place to sit on a bench, relax, and enjoy the view.2 points

I should say, I didnt use the "thumbs up" because of the sad and lonely vibes, but for you using it some day on a layout.2 points

I love this layout but on the other hand it makes me feel sad and lonely. The old typewriter letters are so fitting here. I hope you don't mind if I use this on my part as a scraplift too, not immediately but I can see use for it some day.2 points

Oh my goodness!!!! When I read out your translation of the invoice to him, he was absolutely over the moon. The translation means a great deal to him. I copied and pasted it to a word document, to print off for him. On behalf of both of us, thank you ever so much for taking the time to translate it. There is another document which accompanies this invoice, which I will post, when I get it, for your to translate, if you would be so kind. Again, thank you ever so much.2 points

Bonnie congrats and well done, not only the pickleball championship but all the layouts I just admired! I have only one complaint: I want some of that delicious looking ice cream 🍦2 points

Sue sorry I just see your question now, but of course I can translate this for your friend. You will probably have guessed this is an invoice for 26 days of nursing costs in a hospital in Rotterdam called "Ziekenhuis aan den Coolsingel", which translate to Hospital at the Coolsingel and the Coolsingel was a street with a canal in the center of Rotterdam. It goes on with received from mister L.P. Nielsen the amount of 52 gulden (guilders) and 5 cents for 26 days of nursing costs etc in the 3rd class ward a f 2,-- a day in hospital from October 19 till November 13 1916. Nursing costs.............f 52,-- For the treasurer On the seal is the signature of the administrator and the date 13-11-1916 Charges.............seal f 0,05 the administrator ___________________________ f 52,05 However there is no mention what the treatment or illness may have been. That might mean 2 things: if he was employed somewhere (soldier, government) his employer paid the medical part of the bill or he had some kind of insurance for medical care and had only to pay for the nursing costs. But of course this is an educated guess. Hopefully this helps your friend. If there are more questions I'm most happy to help.2 points

Last "fall" layout for this year I suppose, even if the weather has remained remarkably warm and balmy. The pic was taken at the marina park not far from me where I sometimes walk with the doggies, if it's not too busy. Oops, I see a glitch in the frame. Not fixing it since it's going nowhere but here.2 points

Sue I love that frost, we almost never have that over here any more because the temperatures don't drop that low any longer; climate change.......1 point

I'll make a translation somewhat later this evening. At the moment I have to cook dinner, but at first glance it is only about how and where to pay the bill and nothing else. See you later with a full translation.1 point

There are lots of ideas now, on the internet. I have seen various themes too: helpful (the Elf would sort or organize things), pretend play (taking a bath in the sink, playing cops and robbers, etc.), mischievous (making a mess, playing tricks, etc.). Although the mischievous are the most "laughable", I find that they are the opposite of what we ask children do to, so it is a mixed message. Originally, the idea was to just play Hide and seek in the house, but this has really taken off in a different direction. But the creativity in these can be off the top for some parents!1 point

Yes, they can be transformed to PSP via a free script https://levifiction.wordpress.com/2018/02/20/import-custom-shapes/1 point

Beautifully done, Julie. 💟 I get the weekly newsletter of a Lilypad designer. After the kids left home, she started creating layouts with her photos, sometimes documenting the good and also the not-so-good times. She went through a harsh period for some time (she didn't elaborate on the reason), and this was a way to express the feelings she had back then.1 point

This is very cool. I have had no time to even look at what I downloaded/installed. But this is super awesome! Hope I can figure it out like you did.1 point

In a recent visit to Halifax, we visited a cemetery that has victims of the Titanic disaster buried there. It got me interested in learning more about how the city and the people of Halifax stepped up to help. Halifax was only 800 miles from where the Titanic sank, so ships based there were used to find survivors and recover victims. It warms my heart to read that people are so willing to help others when disaster strikes. This is true everywhere in the world.1 point

Corrie, I love your recognition of the Squamish First Nation. In the modern world they are now headquartered in North Vancouver, British Columbia and there is a town nearby called Squamish, but the road signs on the way to the town say 'Sk̲wx̲wú7mesh'. I did not know that their traditional territory went so far south. Well done on the image.1 point

Thank you. I also have PSP2023 Ultimate. It's CorelDRAW that's the real lure here for me.1 point

You can download what you want and leave what you don't want. For example, although I grabbed the license key for PSP2023, I didn't download it, since I already have the Ultimate version. I will just use the key to gift the program to someone, at some point.1 point

I suddenly realized that when visiting the States in 2022 we went on a daytrip from Seattle with the ferry to Bainbridge Island and visited the museum there about the Suquamish people. Next to the museum was their burial ground where still burials take place. There are a couple of totem poles and a lot of American flags. It also is the burial place of Chief Sealth who died in 1866. He traded lands for perpetual fishing rights in the Puget Sound because the Suquamish where fishermen. On those lands is now the city of Seattle, which is named in his honor. Although not a Dutch cemetery I have visited an interesting one. We were there on a rather humid day with low visibility, which made for a gloomy atmosphere. My youngest granddaughter didn't liked it all which provoked her older sister to tell stories over bodies rising from their graves😕.1 point

I am all moved and we closed on mom's house on Friday. Not unpacked by a long stretch, but starting to get some of my craft supplies out (finished my sister's birthday card at 4:30 p before they picked me up at 5 p). Looking forward to learning how to understand some of the quirks you get when using type (just had some this project, very annoying).1 point

There's a country song that says, "There's no such thing as too much fun." I agree! Just being together is fun...then add good food, ice cream, shopping, pickleball. Yep, fun, fun, fun.1 point
